Resources,Participation And Recognition:The Source Of The Insufficient Endogenous Power Of Social Work In Western Counties

Along with the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and a series of policies to promote the development of social work,social work as one of the forces of help social construction,has gradually become an important part of public service system in our country and has been further developed.However,in the western region,due to economic,resource,cultural and other factors,the social problems it faces are more prominent,and the demand for social work is also greater,but the development of social work in the western region is still lagging behind,and the endogenous development power is obviously insufficient.According to the connotation of endogenous development theory,resources,participation and recognition can jointly affect the generation of endogenous dynamics.Therefore,this study takes Yun County of Yunnan Province as an example,and starts from the perspective of endogenous development theory,through participatory observation,literature analysis,interview and other qualitative research methods,to present the current situation of the localization of social work in western counties in the three dimensions of resources,participation,recognition and the existing problems in the development process,and on this basis analyzes the reasons for the lack of endogenous power of social work in localization.It is found that the local development of social work in Yun County is mainly manifested as the shortage of local resources and the insufficient utilization of existing resources,which fundamentally hinders the development of social work.In the dimension of participation,Yun county shows that the practice path of all subjects participating in the development of social work is blocked.In terms of recognition,the social recognition of professional social work in Yun County is low and its professional identity is ambiguous,which makes it difficult for social work to be accepted locally and relevant services to be carried out.In addition,according to the interaction of resources,participation,recognition,the three dimensions of social work development of endogenous power generation with triple effect,the recognition is the precondition of local development opportunity for social work,the resource is to support the fundamental basis for the development of social work,participation is the guarantee of social work to practice.There is room for improvement in the development of social work in Yun County in three dimensions,which directly weakens the comprehensive linkage of the three,resulting in the lack of endogenous power and slow development speed of local social work.Therefore,resources,participation and recognition are the necessary conditions for the local development of social work,and only three dimension mutual linkage can better activate local endogenous power,promote the development of social work from the inside out.In addition,this study focuses on the three core elements of endogenous dynamics,which also provides targeted thinking directions for how to promote the development of social work,and further promotes the localization of social work in the western region.
