In June 2022,the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security,the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other ministries jointly triggered the Implementation Plan of Manufacturing Skill Foundation Project(No.33 of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security,2022),which reflects the important role of front-line employees in the process of manufacturing power,highlighting the country’s care and care for the career development of front-line employees in the manufacturing industry.In December of the same year,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Strengthening the Construction of Highly Skilled Talents in the New Era,which put forward a series of policies and measures to improve the training,use,skill upgrading and protection of labor rights and interests of manufacturing employees.Wuhan is the central city of six provinces in central China.Its manufacturing industry is the core manufacturing base in central China,with a large demand for front-line employees.However,according to the data of Wuhan Statistical Yearbook(2017~2022),the total number of employees in Wuhan’s manufacturing industry has decreased by 10.12%since 2017.Investigate its reason,a platform economy and job seekers choosing ideas change,but the most fundamental reason is in Wuhan manufacturing to save economic cost and management costs,a large number of labor outsourcing and.labor dispatch flexible employment,manufacturing in universal labor safety and health rights and interests protection,vocational skills training,also appear not sign a labor contract,not buy social insurance,ignore the line staff occupational health and career development damage the phenomenon of labor rights and interests.Labor service companies make use of split labor remuneration payment methods such as hourly workers,full moon cash return and rebates,which cover up the infringement of labor rights and interests of front-line employees.Therefore,based on the industry characteristics of the manufacturing industry and the mixed employment mode,it is necessary to promote the expansion and quality improvement of the labor rights and interests protection of front-line employees.Based on the above background,based on the literature research and the actual situation of front-line employees in Wuhan manufacturing industry,constructs the evaluation index system of the protection of labor rights and interests of front-line employees in the manufacturing industry in Wuhan,which provides a reference benchmark for a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the current situation of labor rights and interests of front-line manufacturing employees in Wuhan.Through questionnaire survey,interview,field research and other empirical research methods,first-hand information is obtained,and a descriptive analysis of the current situation of labor rights and interests protection of front-line employees in Wuhan manufacturing industry is conducted.Based on the four theoretical bases of research data,labor process theory,Maslow’s demand hierarchy theory,labor market segmentation theory and non-standard employment theory,it puts forward the hypothesis that subjective factors,institutional factors and labor process control factors have an impact on the protection of labor rights and interests of the front-line employees in the manufacturing industry in Wuhan.With SPSS25 as the analysis tool,through multiple linear regression and gradual regression,the root cause of the insufficient protection of labor rights and interests of frontline manufacturing employees in Wuhan was found.The results show that among the subjective factors,the degree of knowledge of the relevant labor laws,the open and transparent refund rules and labor rights and interests protection of labor service companies have a positive effect,while the strict working time system,strict control of the work site and the protection of labor rights and interests have a negative effect.Therefore,from the empirical analysis conclusion,the Wuhan manufacturing line staff are summarize.
