| The authors explored strategies for managing students second period reading outside the classroom in a newly built public school,Primary School A in City W,as an example.In order to understand.A variety of approaches to research were used in order to understand the situation of elementary school students’ reading outside the classroom in the second period of elementary school A in City W.Reading out of class not only enhances students’ knowledge of all types,but also establishes a solid background for learning in the future.so that students can fall in love with reading from an early age.The participants were asked to explore their strategies for managing students reading after school in the second year of the elementary school,which is a new public school in W.In order to understand the situation of.In order to understand the extracurricular reading of elementary school students in the second period of grade A in City W,The study is guided by the motivational theory and "nearest developmental zone" education philosophy.In this study,we investigated students’ interest in recreational reading,reading contents,reading habits,reading mentoring and reading environment at five levels.We also surveyed some teacher candidates,parent candidates and student candidates in order to fully understand the current situation of the second grade students’ extracurricular reading in the school.The school also conducted in-depth interviews with some teacher representatives,parent representatives and student recommendations.Through the research,it was found that the second grade kindergarten students in this school read outside of class.representatives from the school were also investigated Conduct in-depth interviews with parents’ representatives and student representatives to fully understand the present,A survey of extracurricular reading among second grade primary school students.The school scene.Through investigation and research,it was found that the main problems with extracurricular reading among primary school students in the second stage of the school are Lack of extra-curricular reading organization in activities,shortcomings in extracurricular reading guidance and practice,weak awareness of extracurricular reading co education among parents,and a single form of extracurricular reading motivation.To focus on the problems and the causes behind the situation,we found that the symptoms are as follows:the social reading ambiance is not strong,schools lack extracurricular reading management systems,teachers’ management of extracurricular reading is slightly weak,family education ignores the guidance of extracurricular reading,and students’ awareness of autonomous reading is not strong.Based on this,using the theory of motivation and the theory of the nearest development zone,To find the strategies to address the improvement of out-of-class reading for students in the second period of the primary school in City A of W.We propose various administrative solutions for the management of out-of-class reading in enhancing the support of local education executive departments,strengthening the management and guidance of out-of-class reading for students in the second period of the school,enhancing the evaluation of out-of-class reading,and strengthening the orientation of family education.The implementation and conclusions of this study are expected to provide a modest contribution to the management of extracurricular reading for teachers in primary schools. |
