Investigation On Extracurricular Reading Of Grade Three Students In Primary School

In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to students' extracurricular reading.In order to know the third grade students' current situation of extracurricular reading in Xiang yang City accurately,the author used questionnaire to investigate the third grade students based on the previous studies,and interviewed some Chinese teachers and students' parents.This article has three parts.The first part discusses the reasons for choosing this topic and the research summary related to the topic.The second part is about the content and results of the extracurricular reading of the grade three students in the primary school.The survey mainly involved in extracurricular reading interest and motivation,ways of reading the content,reading time,reading environmental aspects.The findings show that the primary school students in Xiang yang have strong interest in extracurricular reading,the content and sources of reading are relatively single,the reading guidance needs to be strengthened,the reading time and environment are not up to standard,and the communication between student's family and school needs to be strengthened.Through the analysis of the data and the interviews with teachers and students,the author analyzes the main causes of the current situation of extracurricular reading from the four aspects of students,schools,families and society.The third part combined with the analysis of the causes,puts forward countermeasures to solve the problems:firstly,teachers should develop students' interest in reading and to strengthen the instructions for students'extracurricular reading;secondly,schools should actively organize activities provide a platform for the student;finally,students family should also be considered to create an atmosphere for students to read.
