In 2022,the Ministry of Education officially issued the "Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan",which completely separated labor from the original comprehensive practical activity curriculum,and issued the "Compulsory Education Labor Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)".Labor curriculum officially became an independent curriculum in primary and secondary schools.The new curriculum standard explores the educational essence of labor curriculum,reflecting the diverse labor practice needs of schools and students.However,in recent years,although the labor education curriculum in China’s basic education has continuously received attention and attention from all walks of life,there are still many problems in the development and management of labor education curriculum,especially for the younger primary school stage with relatively weak independent participation ability.There are still many problems to be solved in the establishment of management models and systems,the organization and implementation of management processes,and safety and security mechanisms in labor education curriculum.The paper selects the primary school in X District of Yinchuan City,which is located in the underdeveloped region of western China,as the research sample.Through combing relevant domestic and foreign literature,and combining the actual situation of this study,a questionnaire is prepared.The questionnaire was distributed to teachers and students of 10 primary schools in X District of Yinchuan City.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation of labor education curriculum management in primary schools in X District of Yinchuan City,an interview outline was prepared based on previous research.Interviewees selected labor education teachers and school administrators from five representative primary schools in X District of Yinchuan City.Based on the analysis of the questionnaire and interview content,it is found that there are various levels of problems in the labor education curriculum management of primary schools in X District of Yinchuan City,including labor education cognition,labor education organization,labor education teacher team construction,and labor education evaluation.These practical problems seriously restrict the development and construction of labor education curriculum in X District of Yinchuan City,and hinder the practical implementation of the New Curriculum Standards,Opinions,and Outline.The study found that the reason why the primary school labor education curriculum management in X District of Yinchuan City has such a current situation is that the school does not implement policies in place and does not attach high importance to labor education curriculum management;The school lacks planning and motivation for the construction of the dynamic education teacher team;Schools lack effective organization and supervision of labor education courses;The school’s evaluation system for labor education is not perfect.Overall,the management of primary school labor education curriculum exists at three different levels:the policy level,the school level,and the teacher’s own level.To effectively solve the practical problems faced in the management of primary school labor education curriculum,it is necessary to accelerate the implementation of relevant labor education policies from multiple perspectives. |
