In recent years,the level of physical quality of college students is decreasing,and the problem of their physical health is widely concerned by the society.Due to its unique training concept and diversified training forms,functional training has gradually become a research hotspot of experts and scholars at home and abroad.On this basis,this study tries to explore the changes of various indicators of physical health of college students before and after the intervention of functional training by experimental method,so as to obtain the specific impact of functional training on the physical health development of college students.Provide more choices for college students to do scientific physical exercise.The research methods used in this paper include literature,expert interview,mathematical statistics and experiment.The experimental method randomly divided 68 college students in Qufu Normal University into experimental group and control group.After 16 weeks of functional training intervention,through the comparison and analysis of the changes in the three aspects of the physical shape,physical function and physical fitness of the two groups of college students before and after the experiment,the influence of functional training on the physical health of college students was clarified.The research conclusions are as follows:Physical form: After 16 weeks of functional training intervention,the physical form of college students in the experimental group was slightly improved compared with that before the experiment,but the improvement effect was not obvious;The body shape of college students in the control group did not change significantly compared with that before the experiment.Through the analysis of the body shape index changes of overweight and obese college students before and after the experiment,it was found that the body shape of overweight and obese college students before and after the experiment was significantly improved.The results show that functional training can improve the body form of college students to some extent,especially for overweight and obese college students.Physical function: After 16 weeks of functional training intervention,the physical function level of college students in the experimental group was significantly improved compared with before the experiment.Although the physical function level of the control group was slightly improved,the improvement effect was not significant compared with before the experiment.It shows that functional training is of great help to the improvement of college students’ physical function level.In terms of physical fitness: after 16 weeks of functional training intervention,the speed and flexibility of the experimental group of college students have the most significant improvement effect compared with before the experiment.The explosive power and strength quality have also been significantly improved,but the endurance quality is not obvious compared with before the experiment.The physical fitness of the control group was not improved significantly before and after the experiment.The results show that functional training is of great help to the improvement of speed,flexibility,explosive power and strength,but it has no obvious effect on the improvement of endurance quality.In conclusion,functional training has a positive impact on the development of college students’ physical health,and has a positive impact on college students’ physical form,the development of physical function and physical fitness has positive significance.Suggestions:(1)It is recommended that college students,especially those who are overweight and obese,integrate functional training into their daily physical exercise activities to better promote their physical health.(2)It is suggested that physical education teachers in colleges and universities integrate functional training methods into physical education teaching and training,so as to provide help to enhance the physical fitness of college students and improve the performance of special training.
