In 2016,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Health China 2030" planning outline,and the national health issue rose to a new level.The university student population is an important part of society,but in recent years the physical fitness of students has been on a continuous downward trend,and the downward trend has not been effectively controlled.Within the field of physical training,the flourishing development of functional training has had an extremely important impact on competitive sports,and the competitive performance has been greatly improved.In order to explore the influence of functional training on the physical quality of college students,this paper explores the specific influence of functional training on the physical quality of college students through the experimental comparison and analysis of functional training and traditional training,and provides theoretical reference for functional training in physical education classes,in order to find ways and methods to effectively improve the physical quality of college students.In this paper,research methods such as literature review,experiment,questionnaire survey and data statistics are adopted to investigate the effect of functional training on the physical quality of college students.60 students enrolled in Harbin Engineering University in 2022 were chosen to conduct functional training twice a week for 6 weeks.The results show that:(1)Both functional training and traditional training can improve students’ screening scores of functional actions to different extent.Compared with traditional training,functional training has more obvious improvement on student’s performance on squat,hurdle step,straight lunge and trunk rotation stability,indicating that functional training can effectively improve the core stability and body asymmetry of students.(2)Both functional training and traditional training can improve students’ physical quality test scores at different level.Compared with traditional training,functional training can improve students’ performance on 50-meter race,standing long jump and sitting body forward bending more significantly,indicating that functional training can effectively improve the speed,flexibility and strength of students.Based on the above conclusions,three suggestions are proposed in this paper.First,functional training should be introduced into physical education class to formulate various,interesting and reasonable training programmes according to the actual condition of students and schools so as to improve students’ interest in exercise and stimulate students’exercise motivation.Second,students should be screened for functional actions in physical education classes in order to carry out targeted training to strengthen their weak aspects and improve the power chain effect.Third,functional training has various forms and remarkable effects,but traditional strength training is still indispensable.Therefore,functional training should not be exaggerated and traditional training should not be abandoned.Only scientific and reasonable training programmes combining functional and traditional training can better promote the physical quality of students. |
