| With the evolution of the times,China’s industrialization and urbanization process continues to accelerate,and the number of elderly people shows a rapid growth trend,which also marks that China is entering a new stage of aging society.Due to limited economic conditions,many farmers will choose to leave their hometowns to work in the city to earn money,thus forming a large group of migrant workers.Over time,the phenomenon of empty nesting in rural areas has intensified,causing a series of problems related to old-age care.Under the current economic conditions,how to enable empty nesters to enjoy their old age has become the focus of attention from all walks of life.In this study,empty nesters in M village in J City were used as research objects,and relevant data were collected by field interviews and observations,and the current status of material and spiritual support of empty nesters in M village was investigated and analyzed.For example,although most empty nesters have been greatly satisfied in their material life,they have great mental problems,some people have strong negative emotions,their social participation is low,and they lack attention to spiritual life;The support of children for the elderly will be more inclined to material support,but ignore the importance of spiritual support.On this basis,a more typical empty nester was selected as the case service object,and under the guidance of social support theory and advantage perspective theory,personalized case services were implemented by deeply exploring the advantageous resources around the service target to meet the psychological and emotional needs of empty nesters,and at the same time assisting children to master how to meet the psychological needs of the elderly,do a good job in spiritual support with a conscientious attitude,and show filial piety.Finally,by discussing the role positioning of the elderly,family children,communities and social workers in helping empty nesters to provide spiritual support,the application of these four parties in spiritual support is discussed,and how social workers can link all parties and make full use of resources to improve the spiritual life of empty nest elderly people is analyzed,and then the practical mode of individuals,families,social workers and communities in helping the spiritual support of rural elderly people is explored. |
