Case Study On Enhancing Emotional Support Of Urban Empty Nest Elderly From The Perspective Of Social Ecosystem

In recent years,with the rapid economic growth,the advancement of urbanization and the remarkable improvement of medical and health care,the change of traditional family structure has brought a series of special elderly groups.Urban empty-nesters become a vulnerable group which attracts more and more attention from all walks of life.According to the latest data,the age structure of the population in our country has changed greatly,the aging problem facing at this stage is very severe,and the total number of empty-nesters continues to grow,is the social problem of how to pension the elderly,common attention from all walks of life.However,the improvement of family economic level has not caused too many obstacles for their material pension,on the contrary,most empty-nesters have insufficient emotional support in the spiritual pension,which makes them face more challenges,and is also an important research topic in the field of elderly social work.From the perspective of social ecosystem,through in-depth investigation of empty nesters in L community,this paper selects an empty nester with typical characteristics as the research object in order to better understand their emotional support status,comprehensively applies the case work method to carry out specific service work for the service object,through carrying out 13 specific service processes,The hope is to help urban empty-nesters achieve the purpose of enhancing emotional support.First of all,based on the micro-level intervention,help them to find the meaning and value of life again,and obtain emotional support from their own;Secondly,from the middle level of family,neighbors and friends to intervene,to seek external emotional support for the target;Finally,the community is used as a macro system level to explore the available resources for the service object to establish emotional support network in the community.The conclusion is that case work plays an important role in enhancing emotional support for urban empty-nesters.It is necessary to train family members to pay attention to the emotional support of empty-nesters.It is also important to change the irrational beliefs of urban empty-nesters themselves.The three-month service process aims to change the current situation of insufficient emotional support of the service objects,enhance their emotional support,build a long-term and effective emotional support network system for the service objects,and help the service objects live happily in their old age.On the basis of the research conclusions,several suggestions are put forward on how to enhance the emotional support of urban empty-nesters,hoping to provide some reference suggestions for the research field of social work for the elderly.
