Middle school is an important period for the mental health development of middle school students,and it is of great significance for them to form a correct outlook on life.In recent years,there have been frequent tragic incidents of disregard for and harm to life,indicating that middle school students may have serious physical and psychological problems.They lack a certain understanding of life,coupled with their weak resilience,which makes them unable to choose the right way to deal with difficult problems and even make extreme choices-to give up their own lives.Therefore,it is urgent to carry out life education for middle school students,and schools,as the main battlefield of teaching and educating people,naturally have to shoulder the heavy responsibility of "life education" for students,and integrate life education into the teaching content,making moral and legal classrooms the main battlefield of life education.This article aims to analyze the current situation and problems of life education in middle school moral and legal education,identify key reasons,and explore how to strengthen life education in middle school moral and legal education in the context of the new era.This article mainly consists of four parts:The introduction section mainly discusses the research background and significance of the article,analyzes the current status of literature research on life education at home and abroad,and elaborates on the research methods and innovation points of this article.The first part explains the concepts and theoretical foundations related to life education.Firstly,it elaborates on three concepts including life,life education,and life education in middle school moral and legal education;The second part analyzes the current situation of life education in middle school moral and legal education-taking a middle school in Weifang as an example.Firstly,select a research school and conduct a survey on students in the form of a questionnaire.Collect data,organize the data,and based on the results of the data,identify the problems that exist in the current moral and rule of law classroom.Then,analyze the reasons for this problem based on the problems,such as the complex growth environment of some students,the impact of exam oriented education,and relatively single teaching methods,laying the foundation for proposing countermeasures.The optimization strategy for implementing life education in middle school moral and legal education is the focus of this article.Firstly,the author will elaborate on strategies to leverage students’ subjectivity in life education from the perspective of students themselves;Secondly,starting from the content of the textbook,it is proposed to continue improving the educational content of life education;Thirdly,from the perspective of classroom teaching,in order to improve the classroom effect of life education,three teaching methods are proposed: situational teaching method,experiential teaching method and Case method method;Finally,in order to create an environment conducive to the development of life education,all parties,including the class,campus,family,and society,work together to form an educational synergy and jointly build a healthy growth environment for students.
