The fundamental purpose of the teaching of "morality and rule of law" course in junior middle schools in the new era is to cultivate builders and successors of the socialist cause.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and the subjectivity of junior middle school students who grew up in a prosperous and well-off life has been significantly enhanced,and they have paid more attention to personal experience.Life-oriented teaching takes life as an important knowledge carrier of teaching activities,fully mobilizes students’ enthusiasm,combining specific life experience with abstract knowledge learning,on the one hand,life experience promotes knowledge learning,and on the other hand,knowledge guides students to live a more civilized and healthy life and pay more attention to society,that is a teaching mode based on life and returning to life.The life-based teaching of the "morality and the rule of law"course in junior middle schools can not only enhance students’ mission responsibility,but also implement the new requirements of ideological and political teaching in the new era that unifies indoctrination and inspiration,and combines ideological and political class with social class.This study conducts research on the current situation of life-oriented teaching of the course "morality and rule of law" course in junior middle schools through questionnaire survey and interview methods.The research finds that:in the new era,the policy environment for the life-oriented teaching of the "morality and rule of law"course in junior middle schools has been improved;teachers carry out life-oriented teaching consciously,and basically have systematic features;students have a high degree of recognition of life-oriented teaching and are interested in it.However,at present,there are still some shortcomings in the life-oriented teaching of the "morality and rule of law" course,such as the life-oriented teaching still has limited support in junior middle schools,the degree of coincidence between life-oriented teaching design and the cognitive characteristics of junior middle school students in the new era needs to be improved,students’ active participation in life-oriented teaching is not high.Attribution analysis of the shortcomings reveals that the completion of the expected goals of life-oriented teaching in middle school moral and legal education is constrained by multiple factors,including the limited support for life-oriented teaching from the school,limited ability of teachers to carry out life-oriented teaching,and the need to improve the participation ability of students in life-oriented teaching.Improving the effectiveness of life-oriented teaching requires taking into account the development conditions of the new era and the trend of people’s demand for a better life.To improve the guarantee for life-oriented teaching of the "morality and rule of law" course in junior middle school,measures should be taken such as sharing resources with the community,raising dedicated funds,and setting them up.To enhance teachers’ teaching ability,a training system that spans their entire career should be established to continuously improve their life-oriented teaching ability that emphasizes emotional communication with junior middle school students in the new era.To optimize the teaching process,teachers should improve students’ participation in life-oriented teaching by setting effective problems,diversifying teaching methods,and using a scientifically effective teaching evaluation system. |
