| In the 2016 edition of primary school Chinese textbooks,a new column of "Happy Reading Bar" is added,which aims to incorporate extracurricular reading into the textbook system,so as to stimulate students’ interest in reading,teach students reading methods,cultivate students’ good reading habits and improve students’ reading ability.In order to understand the teaching status of "Happy Reading Bar" column since its establishment,this paper conducted a survey on some teachers and students of 3 rural primary schools in Liaoning Province,Jilin Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region by using questionnaire and interview methods.The results show that the teaching of "Happy Reading Bar" has many advantages,such as teachers think "happy reading bar" column is important and understand its intention;All classrooms set up book corners;Diversification of teaching methods;The evaluation is artistic and diversified,but there are also some teaching problems that need to be solved,such as the unreasonable setting of reading teaching objectives;The reading plan is not reasonable;Lack of teaching guidance theory;Reading activities are simple.Based on the teaching problems found in the survey,the following four reasons are obtained through the interview: first,teachers lack the ability to study and organize teaching materials;Second,teachers lack the ability to understand and study students;Third,teachers’ theoretical knowledge of reading guidance is weak;Fourth,teachers lack of innovation consciousness.In view of the above reasons,the following improvement strategies are put forward: first,improve teachers’ ability to study and organize teaching materials,and rationally formulate teaching objectives;Second,improve teachers’ ability to understand and study students,and make reasonable reading plans;The third is to use schema reading theory to guide reading;Fourth,strengthen the consciousness of innovation and carry out diversified reading activities. |
