| Under the "double reduction" policy,the demand for physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools has sharply increased,resulting in a serious shortage of physical education teachers and teaching staff.In addition,retired athletes have weak comprehensive knowledge and abilities due to conflicts between learning and training,and their personal abilities have strong limitations,making their secondary employment path blocked.To address the shortage of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools and the difficulty in re employment of retired athletes,serving physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools by retired athletes is an effective exploration to break the dilemma.Based on human resources theory and social role theory,this paper expounds the plight and solutions of retired athletes in the transformation of sports education industry.By using the methods of literature review,expert interview,case analysis,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,this paper analyzes and studies the current situation of sports teaching in primary and secondary schools served by retired athletes and the evaluation of relevant managers.Then,the SWOT analysis method is used to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities,and threats of retired athletes serving physical education and teaching in primary and secondary schools,and to explore the smooth path for retired athletes to serve physical education and teaching in primary and secondary schools.The research conclusion is as follows:(1)Retired athletes in the transformed sports education industry have a higher level of sports performance.However,due to the popularity of the project,there are differences in the number of people surveyed for each project.(2)There are many retired athletes who hold positions as physical education teachers,and some retired athletes have been officially appointed.However,the overall teaching experience is short,the evaluation of professional titles is poor,and the teaching evaluation system for retired athletes needs to be improved.(3)Retired athletes have a relatively short training period during the year and should increase their training time.In addition,the training content,methods,and assessment methods should also be diversified and developed.(4)The relevant management personnel are generally satisfied with the teaching work of retired athletes,but still believe that there is room for improvement in their teaching abilities.(5)After conducting interviews with retired athletes in the transitional sports education industry,it was concluded that efforts should be made to increase publicity,increase salary and benefits,and hold corresponding job fairs to facilitate the service of retired athletes to primary and secondary school sports education.(6)The advantages of retired athletes transitioning into the sports education industry include: high professional technical level,sufficient pre job training,high satisfaction with teaching,and good willpower.(7)The disadvantages of retired athletes transitioning into the sports education industry include the need to strengthen their teaching abilities,poor acquisition of relevant professional certificates,mismatched majors,single job search channels,and incomplete teaching evaluation systems.(8)The opportunities for retired athletes to transform into the sports education industry include: national and local policy support,shortage of teaching staff,establishment of sports characteristic learning,establishment of sports coach positions,and support from social forces.(9)The threats to the transformation of retired athletes into the sports education industry are as follows: relevant policies have not yet been improved,employment is affected by the environment,there are differences in employment opportunities for athletes of different events,wages and benefits need to be improved,teaching achievements are not significant,and social Role conflict needs to be overcome.The following paths are proposed to address the current situation of physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools for retired athletes in Sichuan Province:(1)Improve policy systems and promote sustainable development.(2)Increase financial support to ensure team development.(3)Increase publicity and create employment channels.(4)Gather social forces and jointly build a path of basic education services.(5)Guide professional selection and shorten the transition period of social roles.(6)Improve the training system and improve teaching level.(7)Complete the teaching evaluation system and provide scientific feedback on the teaching situation. |
