A Study On The Current Situation Of Collectivism Education Of College Students And The Path To Enhancement

In the report of the 20 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out the need to implement the fundamental task of educating people with moral character and cultivating socialist builders and successors who are well-rounded in moral,intellectual,physical,social and aesthetic development.The new era has given the Communist Party of China the historical responsibility and mission to achieve the "two hundred years" goal,to win the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics and to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation under the new situation.As the successors of socialism in the new era of national rejuvenation,the ideological values of university students have a direct impact on the future development of China,so it is particularly important to strengthen the education of collectivism among university students and to carry out extensive education on ideals and beliefs.Collectivism,as a basic principle of socialist morality,can reasonably regulate the relationship between the interests of individuals and society,and the value of the principle of collectivism is indispensable for achieving great goals.Collectivist education can effectively guide university students to establish collectivist values,better guide them to improve their personal moral quality,while constantly striving for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,consciously contributing their own strength to the construction and development of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and realising the dialectical unity of personal interests and national interests.By defining and clarifying the concepts related to collectivism and the inherent relationship between collectivism education and ideological and political education,insisting on the combination of modernity,theory and practice,and based on empirical investigation and analysis,this paper clarifies that at present,the concept of collectivism among university students is generally healthy,and the development of collectivism education channels for university students is diversified,but there are also some problems,some university students’ acceptance of collectivism education However,there are also some problems,such as the consciousness of some university students to accept collectivism education needs to be improved,the degree of participation in collectivism behavior needs to be enhanced,and the content and environment of collectivism education for university students needs to be further optimized.This paper proposes corresponding countermeasures based on ideological and political education theories according to the problems and causes.Firstly,enhance the subject:promote the all-round development of university students with collectivism as the orientation.Secondly,the content should be reinforced: it should be combined with the new era to cultivate excellent cultural heritage.Once again,the goal is to achieve the unity of knowledge and action in collectivism education.Lastly,to optimise the environment: to realise the effective connection mechanism between family,university and society.Through exploring and analyzing the current situation of collectivism education of college students and the path of improving it,this paper helps deepen the understanding of collectivism education,ideological and political education of college students and the relationship between the two,and provides some help and suggestions for solving the confusion of college students’ collectivism values under the current situation of socialist market economy development,the contradiction between the requirements of ideological and political education of the new generation in the new era and the reality of college students’ ideological and political quality,and the research of improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education of college students.
