The construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major strategy under the country’s reform and opening up in the new era,and it is also an important strategic measure for China to form a new pattern of opening up to the outside world.Based on the theory of education economics, this research uses the research method of literature analysis and statistical analysis to explore the compatibility of the specialty structure, industrial structure and employment structure of higher vocational education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, analyze the balance between the supply of higher vocational education talents and the demand for talents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, discuss strategies to achieve the matching of talent supply and demand, give full play to the role of higher vocational education, cultivate higher vocational talents that adapt to the development of the Bay Area, and promote the construction and development of the Bay Area. The inherent logic of the specialty setting of higher vocational education in line with the regional industrial structure lies in the fact that the specialty setting of higher vocational colleges affects the development of regional industrial structure, and at the same time, the change of regional industrial structure affects the specialty setting of vocational colleges.According to the theory of education economics, education and the economy interact, education is an important factor in economic growth and social development,at the same time, economic development affects the development of education, and the industrial structure of the economy determines the specialty structure of education. Therefore, higher vocational education as an important part of education,is bound to affect the development and progress of the economy,at the same time, the specialty structure of higher vocational education should be based on the regional industrial structure, improve the fit between the specialty structure and the industrial structure,so that the specialty structure and the industrial structure are balanced, and adapt to the needs of regional economic development for high-quality technical and skilled personnel. The study found that the establishment of primary and secondary industry majors in higher vocational education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is seriously insufficient, and it is necessary to add primary industry and secondary industry majors in a timely manner, while the tertiary industry has excessive specialty settings, which needs to slow down the speed of adding tertiary industry majors. In view of the above problems, this study proposes the following strategies: First, grasp local needs and set up majors according to local conditions.Second, understand the characteristics of the industry and tailor and adjust the profession.Third, optimize school-enterprise cooperation and develop majors according to the situation. |
