With the rapid development of science and technology,our life becomes more convenient and fast,and various fields are developing and changing.As far as information technology courses in the field of education are concerned,the responsibility of information society is not only one of the core qualities to be cultivated by the course,but also the content of moral education for students in the information society.The purpose of this research is to understand the current situation of information social responsibility of students in the third stage of primary school,analyze the problems existing in the information social responsibility of students in the third stage of primary school,and find out the reasons for the problems,and explore reasonable and feasible cultivating strategy for the information social responsibility of students in the third stage of primary school,so as to promote the all-round development of students.First,a survey was conducted on 220 primary school students in the third stage by compiling a questionnaire based on the literature on cultivating information social responsibility at home and abroad.It was discovered that students have several issues regarding information social responsibility,including poor digital health conditions,weak awareness of information security,lack of interest in information technology learning,low level of civility in digital communication behavior,low level of understanding of laws and regulations related to the information society,and insufficient capacity for information culture inclusiveness.Second,based on the dimensions and results of the survey,an interview outline was developed and interviews were conducted with four IT teachers to understand the reasons behind students’ social responsibility issues in the information society.It was found that teachers lacked the ability to cultivate students’ willpower,limited focus on targeted information security education,insufficient efforts to cultivate students’ interests in information technology,insufficient guidance on online etiquette by teachers,low levels of attention to information society laws and regulations,and a narrow curriculum of information and cultural education by teachers.Finally,in light of previous research findings,the following strategies for cultivating information society responsibility among primary school students in the third stage have been proposed: teachers should teach according to students’ willpower characteristics through tailored instruction;Teachers should design case studies to increase students’ awareness of information security;Teachers should use various methods to enhance students’ interest in information technology studies,which is mainly demonstrated by creating various scenarios,enhancing students’ self-efficacy,combining curriculum characteristics effectively,and improving teaching methods;Conducting a wide range of online etiquette activities;Enhancing the publicity of information society laws and regulations;And enriching the teaching content of information culture.
