Huangzhou peasant painting is a type of painting with strong local characteristics.Its strong use of color,exaggerated shape and full composition indicate the charm of local folk culture and art.The government department has paid attention to the promotion and development of Huangzhou peasant painting art,but according to the survey,schools have not systematically introduced Huangzhou peasant painting resources.The introduction of Huangzhou peasant painting resources into junior high school art classes can,on the one hand,expand students’ art knowledge and enrich classroom teaching content,and on the other hand,enable students to understand the development of local art and painting methods,as well as preserve and inherit local traditional culture.The first part expresses the background,purpose,current situation,ideas and methods of the study.The second part outlines the development history and current situation of Chinese peasant painting and Huangzhou peasant painting,and explains the artistic characteristics and educational value of Huangzhou peasant painting.Based on the research,the third part understands the attitudes of local teachers and students toward the introduction of folk art into school classrooms,and analyzes the significance of introducing Huangzhou peasant painting into junior high school classrooms.The fourth part discusses the case design principles and strategies for introducing Huangzhou peasant paintings into the middle school art classroom.The fifth part discusses in detail the case design and practice related to the combination of Huangzhou peasant paintings into the middle school art classroom.The local cultural resources of Huangzhou are selectively introduced into junior high school art classroom teaching,a unit series of lessons is developed,and reflections are made on the shortcomings of the lessons to provide cases for the introduction of Huangzhou peasant painting resources into the classroom.Teachers not only teach painting skills and methods in art classes,but also enhance one’s aesthetic level and humanistic qualities.Students gain an in-depth understanding of the local cultural connotations implied by Huangzhou peasant paintings and comprehend the connotations of life conveyed by the works,which helps to strengthen cultural confidence and improve artistic literacy.Taking Huangzhou peasant painting as the entry point,this paper aims to make up for the lack of Huangzhou peasant painting resources at the junior high school level by introducing Huangzhou peasant painting resources into the curriculum design and application on campus according to the learning characteristics and art curriculum objectives of junior high school students,and also hopes to provide reference materials for educational staff in the Huangzhou area so that more knowledgeable people will join in the preservation and inheritance of Huangzhou peasant painting.
