In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards,which clearly states that core literacy is a concentrated expression of the discipline’s nurturing value and an important vehicle for implementing the fundamental task of establishing moral education.Curriculum ideology and politics is an educational concept that aims to realise the fundamental educational goal of establishing moral education and to explore the elements of Curriculum ideology and politics in the subject curriculum in order to promote students to become well-rounded individuals.Contemporary secondary school students are living in an era of cultural pluralism and constant information changes,and the cultivation of their values and the shaping of their minds and wills are facing great challenges.Therefore,the implementation of curriculum ideology and politics at secondary school level is a good time to implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education.The subject of chemistry is rich in elements of curriculum ideology and politics education,and is an important vehicle and basic way to carry outcurriculum ideology and politics.However,there are relatively few studies on the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into high school chemistry teaching,and there is a lack of guiding status quo investigations and empirical studies.In view of this,the article uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate the current situation of the implementation of curriculum ideology and politics in high school chemistry,and carries out a study on the teaching practice of integrating curriculum ideology and politics with the core literacy of high school chemistry,so as to put forward suggestions for the implementation of curriculum ideology and politics in high school chemistry.The research mainly includes the following parts:1.Integrating the teaching objectives of the high school chemistry curriculum ideology and politics.First of all,through literature analysis,the relevant policies and requirements of the state on Civic Education in the new era,the teaching content of Civic Education in the high school chemistry curriculum in the existing literature,the target content of curriculum ideology and politics in primary and secondary schools in the senior secondary level and the core literacy of the high school chemistry subject as the theoretical basis,the teaching objectives of curriculum ideology and politics in the high school chemistry curriculum are collated and summarized,and five items of political identity,national sentiment,cultural confidence,personality cultivation and philosophical thinking are proposed.The objectives of the senior secondary chemistry curriculum ideology and politics are composed of 5 primary indicators,15 secondary indicators and15 specific target elements.2.A survey on the current situation of the implementation of curriculum ideology and politics in senior secondary school chemistry curriculum.The survey covers the differences in teachers’ teaching experience and academic qualifications in terms of their awareness and implementation of chemistry curriculum ideology and politics,and the differences in students’ grade levels,their interest in learning chemistry,and their academic performance in terms of their awareness and implementation of chemistry curriculum ideology and politics.The findings of the study are as follows:(1)High school chemistry teachers do not attach much importance to chemistry curriculum ideology and politics,and some chemistry teachers lack a deep understanding of the significance of chemistry curriculum ideology and politics,making it impossible for curriculum ideology and politics to really play its proper role.(2)There is a lack of a scientific and systematic evaluation system for curriculum ideology and politics,and it is difficult to evaluate the teaching effect quantitatively.(3)Students have high expectations and recognition of chemistry curriculum ideology and politics,while the current teaching effect of chemistry curriculum ideology and politics is at an intermediate level.3.The practical research of curriculum ideology and politics in senior secondary school chemistry curriculum in the context of core literacy.The author chose the content of "Sulphur and its compounds" to carry out the teaching design,and completed an empirical study using the practical method and statistical analysis method.The results of the study showed that,through the comparison of the pre and post-test data between the experimental class and the control class,there were significant differences in the scores of students in the two classes after the adoption of different teaching forms,and the five curriculum ideology and politics indicators of the students in the experimental class were improved to different degrees,proving that the chemistry curriculum ideology and politics can deepen students’ ideological awareness and value quality,thus realising the fundamental educational purpose of establishing moral education.Based on the results of the current study and teaching practice,the following suggestions are put forward for the implementation of the high school chemistry curriculum ideology and politics in the context of core literacy: Strengthen integrated planning with core literacy as the guide;Integrate teaching resources and deeply explore curriculum ideology and politics content;Optimize the implementation process and innovate teaching methods;Establish a scientific and systematic evaluation system for teaching curriculum ideology and politics;Systematically link up and improve the education community.
