The CPC’s educational policy,which always put the moral education in the first place,mainly focus on “the education for whom,to whom,and how to educate”.Xi Jinping,the general secretary of the CPC,emphasized in the CPC’s 20 th congress that “We should run education to the satisfaction of the people,fully implement the Party’s education policy,implement the fundamental task of building moral character and cultivating people,train socialist builders and successors who are fully developed in virtue,intelligence,physical fitness,beauty and labor,speed up the construction of a high-quality education system,develop quality education,and promote education fairness.” The high school section is a critical period for the formation and shaping of values.Based on the practical characteristics and ideas of students in this section,while fostering students’ all-round development of moral,intellectual,physical,aesthetic and labor development,among which moral development stays priority,teachers should guide students to establish a correct world view,outlook on life,and values with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.This thesis explores the practices of the integrating "ideological and political curriculum" into the high school music classroom,with the fundamental goal of "building moral character and cultivating people".Firstly,the thesis collated and summarized the literature related to the ideological and political curriculum of high school music course at home and abroad through the literature research method,and analyzed the current situation and research significance of ideological and political curriculum in high school music course.Secondly,questionnaires and interviews were conducted on teachers and students in a high school in Huanggang City as the research subjects.Through analyzing the data from the questionnaire and interview results,the influencing factors and problems in the implementation process of ideological and political curriculum in the music course were identified and analyzed.Finally,the thesis comprehensively collated and analyzed the high school music appreciation learning textbook of the people’s education edition so that I could classify the ideological and political curriculum elements contained in the materials could be classified,helping design teaching implementation plans for the infiltration of ideological and political curriculum elements in the music classroom on the basis of exploring those elements,after which the thesis evaluated and reflected on the teaching design.To sum up,the thesis proposed a specific practical pathway for the implementation of ideological and political curriculum in high school music classrooms,which can be used to promote the construction of ideological and political curriculum in a high school music course.
