The teaching of ancient poetry is a very important step in cultivating students’ core literacy of "cultural inheritance and understanding" in the high school Chinese curriculum.However,the current teaching of ancient poetry in high schools is still not effective,teachers are tired of improving grades,and students are tired of coping with exams.Therefore,the teaching mode of ancient poetry in high school needs to be optimized."Visible learning" is the most influential research in the field of foreign education in the past ten years,and there are few educational research results in China and its related education,but in fact,there are educational concepts related to it in ancient China.Based on the theory of "visible learning",this study attempts to apply the high leverage factors affecting teaching in its research results to the teaching practice of ancient poetry in high schools,and generate the practical strategy of ancient poetry teaching in high schools under the theory of "visible learning",in order to provide reference for the teaching of front-line teachers and the research of later generations.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly expounds the content,significance and method of this research,and reviews the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in high schools and the research status of "visible learning" theory application research.In the second chapter,this study elaborates on the origin,development,main content and application advantages of the "visible learning" theory.The third chapter is mainly an overview of the teaching of ancient poetry in high school,including the value of high school,teaching objectives,arrangement and teaching requirements.Based on the above,the fourth chapter is a survey of the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in high schools,and through the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the problems of shallow cognition of ancient poetry teaching value,vague positioning of teaching goals,lagging teaching design concepts,and inefficient teaching evaluation methods in the current teaching of ancient poetry are found,and these problems are attributed to comprehensively,so as to understand the current teaching status of ancient poetry more comprehensively.In the fifth chapter,the overall concept of teaching ancient poetry in high school from the perspective of "visible learning" theory is proposed,including practical objectives,practical preparation and practical strategies: analyzing learning tasks and formulating learning plans;Select learning tools to promote learning and evaluation: multi-dimensional use of feedback to regulate learning progress.Chapter 6 is a concrete practice of the strategies proposed in Chapter 5,including three parts:instructional design,instructional implementation,and implementation results.Chapter 7is a reflection and prospect of this research,and the application of the theoretical results of "visible learning" and the teaching of poetry in high schools can clearly show the learning process for students,improve students’ independent learning and regulation ability,and promote learning to upgrade their levels.Chapter 8 concludes with a summary of the research.
