In 2021,the "China issues guidelines to ease burden on young students" was issued,which required that the education level be effectively improved through more scientific and reasonable assignment arrangements,clear assignment amount,and improved assignment design quality,to effectively reduce the excessive workload of students in compulsory education.As an indispensable component of the integration of "teaching,learning,and evaluation",homework has irreplaceable functionality.Therefore,homework design should depart from the traditional pattern of single form,unified arrangement,and pen and paper exercises,and design a homework model that implements the "Double reduction" policy and teaches students according to their aptitude.This homework design includes two parts: "selective hierarchical homework design" and "experimental homework design".Through literature research,the relevant theories and research status of homework design at home and abroad are collated and analyzed.Through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,the actual situation of school homework design is grasped,and strategies for homework design in the context of "Double reduction" are determined.In addition,the principles and general models to be followed in hierarchical homework design and practical homework design are proposed.On the basis of hierarchical homework design,it is necessary to improve and add mandatory modules to form a new hierarchical homework design with mandatory modules and optional modules,so as to more targeted solve the common and differential problems existing in students.In the experimental homework,students are assisted in completing their homework independently by issuing a "Experimental homework flow chart" in the event of a relative shortage of experimental supplies.After nearly two months of homework design practice,a questionnaire survey was conducted among the students in the experimental class,and the results of the pre and post test chemistry tests in the experimental class and the control class were analyzed and compared using SPSS software.Research has found that this homework design model can significantly shorten the time for students to complete homework;Improve students’ interest and self-confidence in learning chemistry;It has a certain effect on improving the performance of students at different levels,especially for students with learning difficulties and students in middle school;The experimental assignments are arranged through the "Experimental Assignment Flow Chart" to ensure that students’ hands-on and innovative abilities have been improved to a certain extent on the basis of successfully and safely completing the experimental assignments.
