The value of homework can not be underestimated,and it is an indispensable factor to improve the quality of education.It is not only helpful for students to review and understand what they have learned in class,but also for teachers to understand students’ knowledge.However,many schools adopt an one-size-fits-all operation model,which places a heavy burden on the students’ schoolwork.In order to lighten students’ learning burden and improve students’ learning efficiency.On July 24,2021,China promulgated opinions and policies on further reducing the burden of homework and out-of-school training of students in compulsory education.Reducing the burden of the school is to improve the learning quality and ensure the development of students in all aspects by reducing students’ unnecessary tutoring and homework,so as to optimize teaching.Based on this,this paper studies the chemistry homework design of middle school under the background of "double subtraction".The author determines the theoretical basis of this study through the collection and collation of relevant literature on homework design at home and abroad.On this basis,this paper understands the current situation of chemistry homework in middle school after the promulgation and implementation of the double reduction policy through two research methods of student questionnaire survey and teacher interview,and puts forward the chemistry homework design strategy in line with the double reduction policy.Then use the proposed chemical homework design strategy to design high-quality homework cases and carry out experimental research.In this study,through the investigation,it is concluded that the current situation of chemistry homework in middle school is that the form of operation is relatively single,and there is a lack of optional homework.The content of the assignment can not well reflect the goal of the assignment.The strategy proposed by the study is that constructing layered homework to improve the Chemistry Learning ability of all students;Construct practical homework to improve the interest of homework;Construct individualized homework and promote teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.Carry on the practical research on the operation of the solution chapter under the "double reduction" policy.The practical results show that the amount of chemical homework has been significantly reduced,the objectives of the operation have become more diverse,and the forms of homework have become more abundant.Hierarchical homework,personalized homework,practical homework,unit homework make some students’ attitude towards homework change,and increase some students’ enthusiasm for chemistry learning.For the students in the third year of junior high school,they are faced with tight time and heavy tasks in the senior high school entrance examination.As far as chemistry is concerned,it has the characteristics of being closely related to life on the basis of experiments.Therefore,under the background of double subtraction,the research on chemistry homework design in junior middle school is very necessary,in line with the characteristics of the discipline and more in line with the requirements of the times.
