Since the proposal of the rejuvenation of our country through science and education,and the social development of our country under the background of fierce international competition,our education needs to bring up a group of development talents who are innovative and keeping pace with The Times.Besides,spatial imagination ability,as one of the requirements of the high school mathematics syllabus,can promote the improvement of the students’ literacy.Since it has been advocated,it has attracted the scholars’ widespread attention and found students in the front line teaching work It is especially difficult for senior high school students to master the solid geometry content.Accordingly,the specific research topic of this paper is as follows:(1)What is the status quo of space imagination ability of senior high school students?(2)What are the factors affecting the development of spatial imagination ability of senior high school students?(3)What are the teaching strategies to cultivate the spatial imagination ability of senior high school students?By analyzing the above problems,some suggestions are provided in order to stimulate students’ autonomous learning ability,promote their all-round development and cultivate students’ spatial imagination ability through geometry content teaching.According to the definition of spatial imagination ability and related theoretical research,this paper constructs a framework for evaluating spatial imagination ability from three aspects:spatial concept,building geometric representation and operating geometric representation.According to this framework,the spatial imagination ability of students in M City and N City is tested.Then,SPSS and Excel software are used to analyze and process the data,so as to obtain the current situation of spatial imagination ability of students in high school,analyze the factors affecting the spatial imagination ability of students in high school,and try to find out the corresponding teaching strategies.On the whole,there are some problems in the mathematical spatial imagination ability of senior one students,which are as follows:(1)In the aspect of basic knowledge,students do not have a clear grasp of the specific and correct steps of drawing and painting,and the drawing is ambiguous and similar principle;(2)In the aspect of describing life with geometric language,students are not skilled in describing real objects with geometric language,and their conversion ability is weak.(4)Students can only reorganize and transform the existing spatial geometry in their minds,but they can’t use geometric symbol language to express.The above reasons are mainly as follows:(1)Students are not strict with themselves,such as failing to complete daily homework and not thinking in the face of wrong questions;(2)teachers’ teaching methods and understanding of important and difficult points will also have an impact on the cultivation of students’ spatial imagination ability;(3)the gender of boys and girls will also have an impact on students’ spatial imagination ability in senior high school;(4)Senior high school Students’ mathematical spatial imagination ability is also related to students’ knowledge base and students’ achievement.Therefore,based on the analysis of the current situation and research,this paper mainly puts forward the following cultivation strategies:(1)pay attention to the learning of basic knowledge,(2)pay attention to knowledge connection,(3)pay attention to the cultivation of learning interest,(4)use of information technology of The Times,(5)pay attention to visual teaching,(6)pay attention to difference pay attention to difference teaching.
