Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,the reform of basic education curriculum in China has made steady progress.From the content and standards of the new national curriculum reform,model thinking is not only a basic mathematical thinking,but also a basic way to solve mathematical application problems in real life.Students are required to not only To master specific mathematical models,we must also learn to use model thinking to think and learn.Students in the fifth and sixth grades of elementary school gradually mature in thinking,psychology,and emotion,and can learn,accept and master mathematical modeling.Cultivating students’ mathematical modeling ability at this stage is of great significance for students to understand mathematical thinking,solve mathematical knowledge,and solve practical problems.This article mainly explores the factors that affect the mathematical modeling ability of the upper grades of primary school students and the corresponding training strategies.The author selected about 300 sixth-grade students from a primary school in Yuexiu District,Guangzhou City as the survey subjects,based on family status,learning attitude,extracurricular interests and hobbies,modeling ability,self-efficacy,reading comprehension ability,abstract generalization ability,and reasonable reasoning.Ability,computing ability,innovation ability,etc.are used as the influencing factors of the mathematical modeling ability of primary school students.The total model,tree planting model,engineering model and route model are used as expressions of mathematical modeling ability.Questionnaires are designed to conduct surveys,and the data of the questionnaire survey results Carry out structured processing,use statistica l tools to further analyze reliability and validity,reduce the dimensions of factors such as family status,hobbies,and learning attitudes that may affect students’ mathematical modeling ability,and find out the mathematical suggestions for the upper grades of primary school students.Model ability has an influential factor;the analysis method of structural equation model is introduced for verification,and the contribution of each principal component factor to the student’s mathematical modeling abilit y is calculated.Finally,on this basis,the mathematical modeling ability of the upper grades of elementary school students is proposed.Strategy recommendations.From the research results,students’ learning attitude is the main factor that affects their mathematical modeling ability,followed by reading comprehension ability.Family situation can indirectly affect students’ mathematical modeling ability by influencing other factors.Finally,based on the results of the research,combined with the actual teaching work,the author summarized suggestions for improving the mathematical modeling ability of the upper grades of primary school students from the perspectives of families,schools,and students.
