| In the compulsory education section, most of the problems in the application of mathematics are described in the form of words.Among the many factors that affect the development of students’geometric intuitive ability, this paper selects the hand-drawn sketching ability of mathematics application problems of grade 7 students as the research object to investigate, and formulates research questions:What is the stage and level of development of the hand-drawn sketching ability of 7th graders? How to quantitatively study the ability to draw sketches by hand?Is there a correlation between different levels of graphical representation and achievement? In this study, the questionnaire survey method, literature analysis method and quasi-experimental research method were used to analyze the three key characteristics of hand-drawn sketches from the relevant research literature on graphic representation at home and abroad, and designed a questionnaire according to the evaluation framework to explore the current status of hand-drawn sketching level of junior high school students in the seventh grade of a middle school in Pudong,Shanghai, and discussed the correlation with the correct rate of problem solving.2.Seventh graders focus on the key characteristics represented in the sketch(mathematical structure, mathematical matching, degree of abstraction)to help improve accuracy.Based on the above research results, this paper puts forward the following suggestions for training seventh-grade students to solve application problems:(1)teachers consciously use hand-drawn sketches to interpret and analyze application problems during the teaching process,(2)leave a certain amount of time in the classroom for students to experience the drawing process,and(3)In the after-class homework, focus on observing the graphic representation of students’ application problems and find the difficulties accordingly,so as to better solve and explain... |
