| Word teaching occupies an important position in the whole primary language teaching,but there are problems such as teachers’ single mechanical word teaching method,boring word teaching classroom,and students’ low interest in word learning in the first grade of primary language teaching,so it is especially important to explore diversified word teaching methods and increase the interest of word teaching classroom.The simple and intuitive nature of sketches and drawings can be used scientifically and rationally to solve the problems of word teaching,increase the interest of word teaching,and improve the efficiency of word teaching.Based on this,this study refined the type of sketch into hand-drawn sketch,and based on the core concepts of hand-drawn sketch,the theories of Chinese characters,intuitive teaching and children’s cognitive development,and the analysis of the appropriateness of hand-drawn sketch to assist word teaching,this study conducted an action research on hand-drawn sketch to assist word teaching in the first grade of elementary school language.First,the researcher used the literature research method to sort out and analyze the existing literature,and found that the research on the application of sketching in teaching is mostly based on the model of "investigating the current situation-analyzing the problems and reasons-suggesting suggestions or strategies",and there are not many related studies with action research as the main method.In order to enhance the practicability of the research process and the practicality of the research findings,the main method of this study was determined as the action research method.Second,a combination of questionnaires and interviews was used to investigate the current situation of word teaching in the first grade of elementary school language from both students’ and teachers’ perspectives,to sort out the problems and to lay a realistic foundation for the subsequent teaching design and implementation.Again,three rounds of action research were conducted on the application of hand-drawn sketches to the teaching of words in the first grade of elementary school language,and the actual effects of hand-drawn sketches on the teaching of words were tested through student questionnaires and interviews,and teacher interviews.Finally,the research process and survey data were analyzed to draw conclusions from the study.The specific conclusions drawn from this study are as follows: first,hand-drawn sketches assist word teaching mainly have the advantages of enhancing the fun of word learning,resolving difficult points of word teaching,deepening students’ memory and understanding of knowledge,and tapping into the cultural heritage of words;mainly have the limitations of not easy to select teaching contents,high requirements for teachers,and narrow scope of applicable groups.Second,teaching suggestions are formed from both teachers’ and students’ perspectives.From the teacher’s point of view: when teaching hand-drawn sketches,teachers should fit the teaching objectives and choose words carefully;closely match students’ characteristics and provide room for play;use a variety of methods in a reasonable way;pay attention to students’ feedback and adjust teaching in time.From the students’ point of view: correct the attitude of word learning and cultivate the habit of word accumulation;master the method of sketching and improve the efficiency of drawing;draw in connection with real life and pay attention to word practice and application. |
