| In 2019,the General Office of the State Council proposed in the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of General High School Education Methods in the New Era" to deepen classroom reform,cultivate students’ key ability to adapt to lifelong development and social development needs,the objective needs of modern social development put forward higher requirements for the education of education,the society no longer only values the reserve of talent knowledge,but also pays more attention to the way of thinking of talents and the ability to process information,at present,China has increased the importance of the cultivation of high-order thinking of talents.DOK(Depth Of Knowledge)model is the depth of knowledge model,is to reflect the cognitive expectations or knowledge depth required by students to complete tasks,learning activities,and provide a clear path for the cultivation of students’ higher-order thinking,in the United States DOK model has become an important model and method for effectively improving students’ thinking level in teaching,therefore,the research on geographical higher-order thinking training strategy based on DOK model has certain theoretical significance and practical value.Based on constructivist theory,Bloom’s cognitive classification theory and advanced learning theory,this study determines the research background,research purpose and significance,and the current research status at home and abroad through literature research method,defines the concepts of DOK model,higher-order thinking and geographical higher-order thinking,and divides geographical higher-order thinking into four aspects: geographical innovation ability,geographical problem solving ability,decision-making ability,and critical thinking,and uses this as the basic examination direction for compiling questionnaires to investigate the current situation of students’ cultivation of higher-order thinking in geography.It is found and summarized that the problems existing in the current high-order thinking training process of high school students are: insufficient diversity of teaching methods,poor scientific problem structure,low degree of practical teaching implementation,single dimension of after-class homework,weak level of geographical knowledge construction,fixed ideas for analyzing problems,and critical thinking needs to be improved.Teachers need to make the following improvements in teaching: optimize teaching methods and strengthen thinking training;Skillfully design the problem chain and analyze the problem in all aspects;Focus on the practical process and cultivate higher-order thinking;Design a variety of assignments to improve your thinking skills.Students need to make the following improvements in learning: consolidate the foundation of the discipline and strengthen the construction of new and old knowledge;Flexibly analyze problems,open and expand thinking;Collaborative debate and analysis to promote the advancement of thinking.Taking the second section of Chapter 2 of Geographical Selective Compulsory II of Xiangjiao Edition High School "Structural Optimization of Industrial Transformation Areas" as an example,the case teaching design is carried out according to the construction of the geography higher-order thinking training strategy based on DOK theory,which provides a case reference for geography teachers to cultivate geography higher-order thinking. |
