Research objectives:To understand the basic status quo of self-control,achievement goal orientation and academic procrastination behavior of college students majoring in physical education, and to explore the relationship between self-control,achievement goal orientation and academic procrastination behavior,in order to improve the self-control of college students majoring in physical education, prompt them to choose reasonable goal orientation, and reduce the Or provide a research basis for alleviating academic procrastination.Research objects and Methods:A random sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 1353 college students majoring in physical education, and each of them completed a set of questionnaires("Self-compiled Demographic Questionnaire","SelfControl Scale","Achievement Goal Orientation Scale" and "Academic Procrastination Behavior Scale"),and finally obtained 1289 valid questionnaires.SPSS 23.0 was used for statistical analysis, and firstly, descriptive statistics were made on self-control,achievement goal orientation and academic procrastination behavior of college students majoring in physical education, and the overall characteristics were presented.Secondly, independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were performed on demographic variables.Pearson correlation analysis was then used for pair-by-pair comparison. Finally, the hierarchical regression analysis method is used to explore the relationship between self-control and achievement goal orientation and academic procrastination behavior of college students majoring in physical education, and a simple slope test is carried out by using the Process program.Research result:(1)The participants’ self-control scores(57.82±13.51)were at the middle level, the scores of academic procrastination behavior(51.08±13.10)were at the middle level, and the achievement goal orientation score was biased towards mastery and performance approaching goals.(2)There was a significant difference in self-control of college students majoring in physical education(t=-15.69,P<0.001)and whether they were only children(t=2.86,P<0.01);There were significant gender differences between approaching targets(t=-7.63,P<0.001),avoiding targets(t=6.73,P<0.001),approaching targets(t=9.69,P<0.001),and avoiding targets(t=7.97,P<0.001).There were significant professional differences in the performance of avoidance targets(F=4.42,P<0.01),performance approaching targets(F=4.21,P<0.01),and performance avoidance targets(F=3.46,P<0.05).There were significant differences in gender(t=36.15,P<0.001),whether the only child(t=-1.97,P<0.05),and place of origin(t=3.23,P<0.001).(3)The relationship between self-control and academic procrastination behavior was significantly negative, the relationship between academic procrastination behavior and mastery of approaching goals was significantly negative, and the relationship between mastery avoidance, performance approaching and performance avoidance goals was positively correlated.(4)The results of regression analysis showed that the influence of self-control and achievement goal orientation on academic procrastination behavior had an interactive effect, and simple slope analysis found that the magnitude of the four factors of achievement goal orientation had significant differences at different levels.Conclusions:(1)The self-control of college students majoring in physical education is at a moderate level, and their academic procrastination behavior is at a moderately high level.Individuals tend to perform approach and master approach goals.(2)In terms of self-control among college students majoring in physical education, girls are higher than boys, and the only child is higher than the non-single child. In terms of achievement goal orientation, boys tend to perform approaching goals, girls tend to master approaching goals, civil sports students master avoidance goals are higher than social sports, physical education and sports training students, performance approaching and performance avoidance goals are higher than sports education and Train students. In terms of academic procrastination, boys are higher than girls,non-only children are higher than only children, and rural students are higher than urban students.(3)The 4 factors of self-control and achievement goal orientation of college students majoring in physical education have an interactive effect on academic procrastination behavior. The specific performance is:when the achievement goal orientation is low,the negative impact of self-control on academic procrastination behavior is the strongest. |
