| In the report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of "promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement,and building a new brilliance of socialist culture",which highlighted the important position and role of culture in building a modern and powerful country.With the promotion of the strategy of cultural power,the improvement of citizens’comprehensive quality has become an important issue at present.Under the background of the image age,visual culture has become the leading factor in people’s life,and image language has become a new way for people to live,learn and understand the world.Faced with such a background,the cultivation of young people’s visual literacy has become the top priority of art education.Therefore,this paper conducts research on relevant teaching strategies for photography curriculum in middle school art education.This study first explores the relationship between the "image age" and the high school art photography curriculum.By studying the changes in the meaning of images in different eras,we can understand the formation process of the image age.At the same time,research was conducted on the development process of photography education both domestically and internationally,and rational consideration was given to the role and impact of middle school art photography courses in the era of images.Secondly,this study conducted a detailed survey on the implementation of photography courses in art teaching in middle schools through questionnaires and interviews.Through questionnaires and interviews with middle school students,high school students,and frontline art teachers,it was found that although middle school students and art teachers currently hold a positive attitude towards the development of photography courses,middle school photography courses still face certain difficulties,mainly including low attention,relatively disconnected course from students’ lives in the era of images,and insufficient teaching resources.This study proposes corresponding improvement strategies in response to the current difficulties:in-depth analysis of the image age,clear setting of teaching objectives;effectively approaching students’ lives and arranging teaching content reasonably;actively responding to practical difficulties and cleverly creating teaching contexts;deeply aware of the characteristics of photography,flexibly adjusting the teaching process,and supplementing the universal teaching strategy of photography courses to cope with the low popularity of photography courses before.Finally,based on improvement strategies and based on practical situations and unit teaching theories,this study designed unit teaching for photography courses in junior and high schools,taking into account the cultivation of students’ abilities in critical image reading and creative expression.Afterwards,the author selects some parts for implementation.After the implementation of the course,based on student feedback and the author’s observation,this teaching has gained widespread recognition from students.Although there are still some details that need to be adjusted,it has effectively improved students’ ability to read and judge images,and also stimulated their enthusiasm for photography learning. |
