In the tide of building socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the digital economy has become an important factor that cannot be ignored in promoting current economic development with its vigorous vitality.With the development of the digital economy,the number of workers engaged in the digital economy-digital labor has also gradually increased.As an indispensable part of the digital economy,the short video platform,especially Tiktok,has also won large-scale users with its unique algorithm recommendation technology.However,Tiktok,as a short video platform,hides the core of capital pursuit behind its information dissemination platform,which also leads to the commercialization of Tiktok platform to users,and brings many negative effects.This research starts from the phenomenon of free and paid digital labor of users in the Tiktok short video platform,studies the phenomenon of digital labor of users in the Tiktok short video platform from two perspectives of visual and non visual labor types,and analyzes and states the specific forms of labor in the Tiktok short video platform.So that readers can understand the overall logic of digital labor of users on the Tiktok short video platform,and easily understand the entire chain of digital labor of users alienated by the Tiktok short video platform.This research applies text analysis,interview and participatory observation methods to study the digital labor phenomenon in the Tiktok short video platform from the perspective of users,focusing on the specific ways in which the Tiktok short video platform takes away users’ attention,as well as the different feedback performance brought by the diversity of users’ identities in this process,Through the research and analysis of this kind of phenomenon,this paper tries to find out the operation rules behind it,so as to find practical and effective solutions for the negative problems it brings.
