In 2016,Tiktok was officially launched as a short video social software for music creativity.According to the official microblog data of Tiktok,as of August 2020,Tiktok has more than 600 million daily active users,and Tiktok users also involve different age groups,making Tiktok a common medium in family scenes.When new media emerge,it is not possible to simply overlay the scenes it creates with the old ones,but rather treat it as a new system,accompanied by the emergence of new social patterns and behaviors.When Tiktok appears in the family scene,the information environment within the family changes accordingly,and will have a certain degree of impact on the intergenerational behavior of parents and the offspring of college students.What kind of impact will the use of Tiktok platform have on the intergenerational behavior of college students?This paper uses qualitative research methods,collects receipts through semi-structured interviews with college students and their parents,outlines the use situation of Tiktok in college students’ family environment,and uses grounded theory to process data to obtain the intergenerational use behavior of Tiktok media in college students’ families.Based on this use behavior,this paper explores its impact on intergenerational behavior,And summarize the new interactive characteristics of the intergenerational platform based on Tiktok.Specifically,the media use behavior of Tiktok is based on the functional value,emotional value and social value of Tiktok.The functional value is reflected in the information processing,social currency and leisure activities provided by Tiktok,and the emotional value is reflected in the fact that Tiktok can promote the generation of feelings of identity,belonging and group emotion.The social value refers to the personal value and spatial value brought by Tiktok.At the same time,these values have also brought new influence on the intergenerational behavior of college students in the process of using Tiktok,which is mainly reflected in the functional value that provides a new way to understand each other and a new source of interaction for intergenerational behavior.The emotional value makes the intergenerational use of Tiktok strengthen group feelings and glimpse intergenerational differences.The social value of Tiktok helps parents reshape their self-identity and affects the behavior of members in the middle area of the family environment.In addition,the intergenerational interaction based on Tiktok also presents new features,which are manifested in the unidirectional process of intergenerational interaction,the differentiation of intergenerational network language,the diversification of intergenerational communication topics and the diversification of intergenerational interaction modes.
