| Research objective:In this study, the experimental intervention method explored the effects of basketball sports intervention on interpersonal relationship,self-identity and social adaptation, and provided an empirical basis for junior middle school students to improve interpersonal relationship, improve self-identity and social adaptation.Research Methods:87 students from a middle school in Zhenjiang city were randomly selected as the convenient sampling method. The subjects were randomly divided into the basketball exercise intervention group(experimental group)and the regular physical education group(control group),and the moderate intensity basketball exercise intervention lasted for 12 weeks, three times a week for 30 minutes(excluding preparation activity and relaxation activity).Group measurements were performed using the Self-Identity Scale,Interpersonal Relationship Scale and Juvenile Social Adaptation Scale before and after 12 weeks of the experiment. Results:After 12 weeks of experiment,in the time factor(pre-test,post-test),the interpersonal relationship level of the junior high school students in the experimental group and the control group changed significantly over time(F=70.30,p<0.05,η2p=0.45).In the group(experimental group, control group),the interpersonal level between the experimental group and the control group was significantly(F=9.66,p=0.003<0.05,η2p=0.10).Among the interaction factors between time and group, the degree to which the interpersonal relationship level between the experimental group and the control group was significantly different over time(F=11.91,p<0.05).Then,a simple effect analysis of time and group interaction on the interpersonal level of junior middle school students was conducted. The results showed that the difference between the experimental group and the control group was not significant(p=0.41>0.05).In the post-test,there was a significant difference in the experimental group and the control group(p<0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of experiment,in the time factor(pre-test,post-test),the self-identity level of both the experimental group and the control group changed significantly over time(F=187.41,p<0.05,η2p=0.69).In the group(experimental group, control group),the selfidentity level was significantly different between the experimental group and the control group(F=19.61,p<0.05,η2p=0.19).Among the interaction factors between time and group, the degree to which the interpersonal level changed was significantly inconsistent over time(F=14.74,p<0.05,η2p=0.15).Later,a simple effect analysis was conducted on the level of selfidentity of middle school students. The results showed that the experimental group and the control group(p=0.12>0.05).In the post-test,there were significant differences in the level of self-identity in the experimental and control groups(p<0.05).(3)After 12 weeks of sports intervention in basketball, interpersonal relationship and self-identity played a mediating role in physical exercise in affecting the social adaptation of junior middle school students. The effect test of the chain mediation model showed that the direct effect of the middle school basketball sports intervention on social adaptation was significant, with the effect size of 0.25,and the relative effect accounted for 37.9%.The indirect effect 1(social adaptation of interpersonal relationship in basketball special teaching)was significant, the effect size was 0.13,and the relative effect accounted for 19.7%.The indirect effect 2(self-identification and social adaptation of basketball special teaching)was significant, the effect size was 0.17,and the relative effect accounted for 25.8%.The indirect effect 3(self-identification and social adaptation in basketball special teaching)was significant, the effect size was 0.12,and the relative effect accounted for 18.2%.All indirect effect sizes were combined。Research Conclusions:(1)The basketball program sports intervention can effectively improve interpersonal relationships in junior high school students.(2)The basketball sports intervention can effectively improve the level of self-identity of junior high school students.(3)Interpersonal relationship and self-identity act as a link between basketball sports interventions affecting social adaptation in junior high school students. |
