For many years,the homework design of primary school students has been a topic of common concern in the education circles at home and abroad.Combined with the preliminary investigation,it is found that the math homework in the practice of primary school math teaching is faced with a realistic dilemma:the function of the homework is weakened,can not give full play to its due role;The systematic design of the homework is insufficient,and the knowledge points are fragmentary;To cultivate students’ comprehensive ability of mathematics is lacking.With the gradual implementation of the "double reduction"policy,the national and new curriculum standards have put forward clear requirements with the primary school math homework design,committed to the realization of "reducing the burden and increasing the efficiency",attach importance to the quality of primary school math homework,enrich the diversification of homework types,and reduce the learning burden of students.It can be seen that the design and practice of mathematics homework in primary schools need innovation.This paper focuses on the discussion of "How to design and practice math homework for senior primary school students based on Theme Learning".The author conducts research as a participant,focusing on the design and practice of the case "Math Homework for Senior primary school Students based on the theme learning of" Water Drop Diagram ".In exploring the specific and effective design path of homework,the design method of"cooperation between teachers and students" and the design concept of "big situation" are practiced,and the characteristics of "thematic learning" are reflected.The design and practice of high-quality primary school math homework from the perspective of thematic learning can provide effective help for the implementation and implementation of the current"double reduction" policy.The first two chapters of the research mainly explain the core concepts,theoretical basis,design elements and design principles of mathematics homework in senior grades based on thematic learning.The theme-based math homework for senior primary school students has been promoted in H Primary School of Y City for nearly two years,and some experience has been accumulated in the aspects of design consciousness,method,content,type and evaluation,but there are also some problems.Using questionnaire survey and interview method,the research focuses on the "how to apply" topic learning in homework design,and draws the survey results from seven aspects of homework design consciousness,way,reflection,content,type,evaluation and practical effect,and makes a targeted summary.The last three chapters research into the design and practice of specific cases,that is,based on the theme of "water drop diagram" senior math homework design practice research.Firstly,the preliminary analysis of the design is carried out.Starting from the preliminary analysis of curriculum standards and students’ situation,the tool of homework design is expounded,which provides a practical basis for the design,practice and reflection of homework.Then,the scheme is constructed to clarify the design orientation:starting from the discipline system,guiding the overall development of students and the "cooperation between teachers and students",explaining the theme and designing the objectives.The whole compiling process is carried out according to the process of "teachers compilingstudents compiling-teachers and students cooperating".Finally,the compiling results are analyzed in detail.Furthermore,the paper presents the practical results of the homework from the students’ completion and the self-evaluation form of the teacher’s homework design,summarizes the problems in the practice from the three aspects of the homework design,practice and research process respectively,and puts forward three reflection suggestions for the subsequent thematic learning based mathematics homework design and practice in senior primary schools:Practice the design method of "cooperation between teachers and students",apply the design concept of "big situation" and insist on starting from the discipline system.
