Research On The Effectiveness Of School Safety Education In Junior High Schools Under The Perspective Of Overall National Security

In recent years,the Party and the State have attached great importance to school safety education,requiring schools of all levels and types to do a good job in school safety education in order to improve students’ safety literacy in all aspects.The effectiveness of school safety education in the context of the overall national security concept advocates that school safety education should move from a public safety orientation to a combined public safety and national security orientation,and that the effectiveness of safety education should be used as a yardstick to measure the achievement of safety education goals,taking into account the antecedent elements(safety education goals),process elements(safety education content,safety education methods and approaches,and safety education safeguards)and effect elements(safety education effectiveness),in order to holistically examine the goals,process and effectiveness of school safety education.(effectiveness of safety education),and overall study and judgment of the objectives,process and effectiveness of school safety education.The aim of the study is to obtain empirical information on the effectiveness of school safety education in the context of the overall national security concept,to describe the actual state of school safety education,to analyse the problems and causes of school safety education,and to propose countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of school safety education in the context of the overall national security concept.The survey shows that current school safety education has achieved certain results,but its overall effectiveness is low.From the perspective of the antecedent elements of safety education,the initial construction of school safety education objectives has been completed,but the objectives are narrowed and unreasonably positioned;from the perspective of the process elements of safety education,firstly,the content of safety education is lacking,disordered and poorly integrated.Secondly,the lack of special class time for safety education,the difficulty of subject penetration,the vapourisation of extra-curricular activities and the low effectiveness of drills reveal that safety education channels are not fully utilised.Thirdly,the safety education organisation is missing,the system is not yet perfect,the teachers are weak,the quality of teaching materials is low,and the collaboration between home,school and community safety education is weak,and other safety education guarantee mechanisms are not sound.The achievement of the overall goal of security education is weak.The following countermeasures should be taken to improve the effectiveness of safety education in junior high schools,led by the overall national security perspective: First,clarify the basic orientation of safety education goals in terms of direction,development,behaviour and integration,and specify the specific goals of safety education in junior high schools.Second,clarify the criteria for selecting safety education content that meets the cognitive development needs of students,the development needs of the social environment and the requirements of relevant national policies,and reasonably integrate the content of safety education in junior secondary schools.Thirdly,we will enrich school safety education methods and expand school safety education approaches by improving the quality of classroom teaching,enhancing the effectiveness of extra-curricular activities and drills,and creating a safety culture that connects online and offline.Fourthly,we will improve the safety education mechanism in junior secondary schools by setting up a virtual school safety agency,improving the school safety education system that combines management and education,developing comprehensive safety education materials,strengthening safety education teachers,and promoting the linkage of safety education among families,schools and communities.
