With the promulgation of General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition),geography practical power,which is the core accomplishment of middle school students,has become a hot topic in geography teaching field.Geographical practice includes field investigation,simulation experiment and geographical investigation of three forms of activity,among which the description of geographical field investigation activities runs through the whole curriculum standard,which indicates that this geography curriculum reform attaches great importance to geographical field investigation activities.But at present,the research on the curriculum resources of field investigation case development needs to be further enriched.This paper is based on the cultivation of geographical practical ability,taking the field investigation of "Geography 1" as the research object,adopting the methods of literature,action research,case analysis and observation,etc.Within Jungar Banner of Inner Mongolia as an example for field investigation case design.In this paper,ten typical field investigation cases are selected from three journals,Geography Education,Geography Teaching and Middle School Geography Teaching reference,and their case compositions areanalyzed,and their common characteristics are summarized.Find its advantages and disadvantages,sum up,and provide help for the field case design of this paper.Besides,It also demonstrates the theoretical basis of the field investigation case design from the aspects of pedagogy,psychology and geography science,and formulates four principles of field investigation case design: scientific principle,feasibility principle,typicality principle and subjectivity principle.Through the way of field investigation,this paper makes an investigation and analysis on the general situation of natural geography of Jungar Banner,and classifies the natural resources suitable for field investigation in Jungar Banner according to the natural elements.According to the five main points emphasized in Geography 1 Geography based on the basic knowledge of natural elements and their relationship,combined with the general situation of Jungar Banner’s natural geography,the scenic spots of Shenquan in Kubuqi Desert,Dakou and Wanjiazhai are selected.Xue jiawan Town 4 km hillside four observation sites to carry out the physical geographical elements of the investigation,and design of corresponding inspection activities.On the basis of referring to the field investigation cases designed by other scholars,this paper designs the field investigation cases based on the cultivation of geographic practical ability.The case composition includes three parts: pre-investigation preparation,investigation processand investigation summary.Combined with the inspection and field investigation of the physical geographical environment data of Jungar banner,the four cases of vegetation investigation,soil investigation,topography investigation of the Yellow River grand canyon,and comprehensive factor investigation of the hillside four kilometers away from Xuejiawan town were designed and implemented.According to the case design of other scholars and the design experience of the case in this paper,the strategy of field study case design is summarized.The key of case design is to choose the content of investigation.Mastering investigation method is an effective means of case design.
