The opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and improving school aesthetic education in the new era puts forward new requirements for school aesthetic education,infiltrates aesthetic education into different stages of school talent training,runs through the whole process of school education,and emphasizes the importance of aesthetic education in school education.The cultivation of junior middle school students’ aesthetic quality is an important content of comprehensively promoting quality education.This paper discusses the important role of sports dance teaching in the cultivation of junior middle school students’ sports aesthetic quality,and looks for the infiltration mode of aesthetic education in sports teaching,in order to provide theoretical reference for the cultivation of junior middle school students’ sports aesthetic quality.This study takes the cultivation of middle school students’ sports aesthetic quality in junior middle school sports dance teaching as the research object,and uses the research methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,action research and mathematical statistics to investigate the current situation of sports aesthetic quality based on sports dance teaching among the students of grade one,grade two and grade three of Jiefang Road School,Xinhua Middle School and Pingyang middle school in Linfen City;Based on this,two teaching classes were randomly selected from the second grade of junior high school in Linfen Jiefang Road School.One class was the action research group and the other was the control group.The effective samples of the two classes were 50 students for a 12 week teaching experiment;The action research group mainly takes sports dance as the teaching content,and the control group uses the original teaching content of grade two in junior high school.Through three stages of action research,this paper analyzes the changes,teaching methods and Strategies of cultivating students’ sports aesthetic quality based on sports dance teaching.The results show that:(1)the preparation stage of action research,that is,based on the relevant theoretical literature and current situation investigation of junior middle school students’ sports aesthetic literacy of sports dance,determines the initial structure of junior middle school students’ sports aesthetic literacy,including sports aesthetic experience,sports aesthetic concept and sports aesthetic creation,and briefly analyzes its aesthetic cognition and project participation tendency in the teaching content of sports and health curriculum standards;(2)The first stage of action research found that based on the teaching of sports dance,there were no significant differences in the three aspects of sports aesthetic literacy,but only some changes in sports aesthetic cognition and action experience,which prompted the researchers to adjust and improve the teaching content and students’ learning methods;(3)In the second stage of action research,based on the teaching of sports dance,students have changed in two aspects: sports aesthetic experience and sports aesthetic concept,and students’ enthusiasm for practice is rising,which suggests that researchers should constantly strengthen the guidance and creation of students according to students’ physical and mental characteristics,so as to promote the transformation of students’ sports aesthetic perception and experience to sports aesthetic creation;(4)In the third stage of action research,it is found that although the teaching methods such as inter group cooperation,simulation competition and free display are adopted in this stage,students have improved in sports aesthetic creation,there is still no statistically significant difference,and the reasons need to be further analyzed;(5)Accordingly,this paper preliminarily puts forward the teaching improvement and promotion strategies based on the cultivation of junior middle school students’ sports aesthetic quality in sports dance teaching.It is suggested to further excavate the aesthetic elements of sports dance items from the aspects of teaching design,teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods and evaluation,give full play to the aesthetic education function of sports dance items,deepen classroom teaching reform,and explore the effective ways to cultivate students’ sports aesthetic quality.
