Abstract/Summary:
College students as the backbone of social progress,the development of its moral level is very important to the development of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.As a kind of moral behavior advocated by society,prosocial behavior generally refers to all behaviors that meet social expectations and are beneficial to others,groups or society.College Students’ prosocial behavior is influenced by parental rearing patterns and moral identity: individuals communicate with their parents in the family,and their parents’ words and deeds affect the internalization of individual moral concepts and the formation of their own moral norms,that is,the formation of moral identity;Moral identity is further divided into two dimensions: implicit and explicit.Implicit dimension is an individual’s identification with a moral trait,and the explicit dimension is the individual’s transformation of moral traits into moral behavior.Therefore,Moral identity has a direct impact on prosocial behavior.The purpose of this paper is to use the method of investigation and research on the basis of the theory of moral development,taking 736 college students in Inner Mongolia as a sample,this thesis uses the parental rearing style scale,moral identity scale and prosocial behavior tendency scale to quantitatively analyze the current situation and relationship of their parental rearing style,moral identity and prosocial behavior,and Reveals the status quo of college students’ parenting style,moral identity and prosocial behavior and the internal relationship between them,and put forward targeted suggestions for cultivating college students’ moral identity and prosocial behavior from the perspective of family education and moral development.The results show that there are significant differences between parental rearing patterns and gender.Fathers care more about girls than boys,mothers care more about girls,girls have higher autonomy,and mothers control boys more than girls;The implicit dimension and total score of moral identity are significantly different from the professional category.The implicit dimension and total score of moral identity are liberal arts,which are significantly higher than those of science.The explicit dimension and total score of moral identity are significantly different from the mother’s education level.The higher the mother’s education level is,the higher the explicit behavior of children’s moral identity is;There are significant differences between the three dimensions of anonymity,urgency and compliance of prosocial behavior and the total score of prosocial behavior and family economic status.The better the family economic status,the easier it is for individuals to make prosocial behavior;There is a significant positive correlation between parents’ caring parenting and prosocial behavior;Parents’ Apathy and refusal rearing is negatively correlated with prosocial behavior,and mothers’ autonomous rearing can negatively predict prosocial behavior;Parental caring parenting can positively predict college students’ moral identity,while parental indifference and rejection parenting can negatively predict college students’ moral identity;Moral identity can positively predict prosocial behavior;Moral identity plays a complete mediating effect in the influence of parental caring rearing style on prosocial behavior.The research shows that improving parenting style and strengthening moral identity education are very important to enhance prosocial behavior.Therefore,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: from the perspective of family education,implement family education according to law,adopt scientific parenting methods,and create a harmonious family atmosphere.Cultivate the moral identity of college students;from the perspective of school management,create a good school moral atmosphere,enrich the content of moral education,and improve moral education methods;from the macro perspective of society,provide the support of social organizations,strengthen moral and cultural self-confidence and improve volunteer services system;finally home-school-social cooperation activates the magnetic field of moral education.
