As one of the six core competencies listed in the 2017 edition of the new curriculum standard,mathematical modeling plays an important role in students’ ability to solve practical problems,Its core is to emphasize that students should discover mathematical information from the actual background,cultivate students’ mathematical modeling ability,and develop students’ application consciousness.However,the teaching of mathematical modeling in middle schools in special areas is still not in place,on the one hand,teachers are lack of mathematical modeling literacy,on the other hand,students are weak in solving practical problems through mathematical modeling,so how to infiltrate mathematical modeling ideas and cultivate mathematical modeling ability in special areas has become a problem that can not be ignored in the teaching process.In this thesis,starting from the cultivation of junior high school students’ mathematical modeling ability,a survey of mathematical modeling ability of junior high school students in the Tenth Normal School is carried out,and the corresponding rectification strategies and teaching design are given for the problems in this area.The specific study is as follows:The first part,by sorting out the relevant research background of mathematical modeling,gives the content and significance of the research,and proposes the content and method of the full-text research.The status quo of middle school mathematical modeling research lays a theoretical foundation for subsequent research.The second part focuses on the content design and result analysis of the questionnaire.Starting from the questionnaire results and classroom observation,it analyzes the current situation and influencing factors of junior high school students’ mathematical modeling ability based on the two groups of students and teachers.The third part mainly guides the teaching of mathematical modeling according to the principles of progressiveness,openness,and interest,and proposes the creation of multiple situations,broadening the methods of mathematical modeling,and focusing on learning and practical activities,which can help improve the mathematical modeling ability of junior high school students.main countermeasures.The fourth part is based on the basic principles and strategies of mathematical modeling for junior high school students,closely follows the mathematics content of the People’s Education Edition to carry out specific teaching design,implement teaching design,and analyze and evaluate the implementation effect through interviews and tests with practical objects.Mathematical modeling teaching has been unanimously affirmed by students and teachers.The fifth part summarizes this research,and explains the insufficiency of the thesis and the direction of follow-up research.This research is based on the current situation of students’ learning and teachers’ teaching in Bingtuan area,this study puts forward some strategies,which can not only provide theoretical reference for cultivating students’ mathematical modeling literacy,but also provide useful reference and reference for front-line teachers in "common areas" to carry out mathematical modeling teaching.
