With nationwide gradually embarked on mathematical modeling of China’s high school class, a growing number of teachers and students on mathematical modeling given full attention. However, during the implementation of mathematical modeling of specific activities, only in some excellent teachers and some of the best "students in mathematical modeling was able to start. However, in some remote areas, the popularity of mathematical modeling are very low, not to mention the teaching and learning of mathematical modeling. The new curriculum reform, requiring high school students with at least a mathematical modeling activities. To further investigate the analysis of students in remote areas and to understand the level of mathematical modeling capabilities in remote areas of mathematical modeling of urban high school teaching situation, I work in a semester internship in an area of Xianyang town high school to do the analysis investigation. The main body of this paper consists of six parts:The first part of the introduction, describes the status of major research value, domestic and mathematical modeling of mathematics research questions raised in this paper:the urban high school teachers and students to understand the awareness level for mathematical modeling. Modeling capabilities to understand the level of the urban students. Grade analysis, gender, educational level impact for mathematical modeling capabilities.Middle school math models and mathematical modeling of the second part, this part of the awareness of urban schools to investigate mathematical modeling, statistics and analysis, leading to the conclusion. On the other hand, the paper describes the mathematical modeling of secondary importance, as well as some common middle school math models listed.The third part discusses the research design, methodology of this study, as well as statistical data on the test results, the classification analysis, is a core part of this article. The fourth part of a school teacher recorded multimedia mathematical modeling of the whole process of high school the first lesson.The fifth part of this article discusses the conclusions obtained by the survey, and the findings based on this article, make a few suggestions for the school shallow. Finally, this part of the proceeds of this article discusses the limitations of the survey results.
