Revitalizing rural education is an important development strategy to narrow the gap between urban and rural education,improve the regional imbalance of education,and achieve educational equity.The construction of rural teachers is one of the important measures.The improvement of the professional level of rural teachers and the improvement of the management mechanism of rural teachers are highly concerned by the society.Due to the shortage of local teachers in rural areas,"out-of-town teachers" have become an important part of rural education teachers,and their enthusiasm for work is related to the educational level and development of schools,the level and development of rural education,and even the development level and future prospects of the entire village.The problems of the objective physical distance and time distance between home and school of "remote teachers" are more prominent,and the subjective evaluation of "psychological distance" and "whether it has an impact on work enthusiasm" is thought-provoking.This research is carried out by a combination of interview method and questionnaire survey method.First,through interviews,we understand the current situation of home-school distance and work enthusiasm of eight rural teachers in District C of S city.With the help of Nvivo software and manual coding analysis,the measurement dimensions and connotation of physical distance,time distance and psychological distance of “Home-school distance”are obtained.Design the "Home-School Distance" questionnaire,modify and adjust it after pre-investigation and analysis,and form a formal questionnaire "Rural Teachers’ Home-School Distance and Work Motivation Status Survey" based on the mature enthusiasm scale and distribute it to rural schools in District C of S City,using SPSS The software performs descriptive statistics,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis on the questionnaire data,and uses Amos software to obtain a comprehensive model of "the distance between home and school affects the enthusiasm of rural teachers in different places".The study found that the physical distance of rural teachers in different places is generally not ideal,the problem of "tiredness" in the time distance is relatively large,and the psychological distance is relatively large in general.In terms of work enthusiasm,the overall level is above average,and compared with mentality and behavior,the sense of achievement is low.The physical distance and time distance between home and school do not directly affect the enthusiasm of rural teachers,but with the mediating effect of psychological distance,physical distance and time distance will affect the enthusiasm.Psychological distance has a significant impact on rural teachers’ work enthusiasm,and social distance has the greatest impact.The effect of psychological distance on teachers’ work positive attitude and behavior is greater than its effect on grades.Disapproval of geographical identity increases psychological distance and affects enthusiasm.Time distance objectively crowds out lesson preparation time and affects work enthusiasm.Therefore,it is proposed that the humanized management of "schools" can help relieve the fatigue of teachers in different places,actively shorten the psychological distance between their homes and schools,promote teachers’ professional growth,and implement and strengthen the incentive mechanism;"teachers" actively adjust their physical and mental states,participate in school co-governance,Establish professional ideals;the "government" improves infrastructure,flexibly formulates relevant policies,and cultivates professional education management teams and other management and incentive suggestions.
