Cross Fit is a new hybrid training method used in a variety of sports to help athletes improve their fast strength and explosive power.Combined with the characteristics of special jumping ability of basketball players,this study explores the practical effect of Cross Fit training method in this training,and strives to provide more reference training methods for high school male basketball players to improve special jumping ability.By using the methods of literature,expert interview,experiment and mathematical statistics,18 male high school basketball players from Dongting Senior Middle School in Yueyang Lou District of Yueyang City were taken as experimental objects for experimental research,and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)High school male basketball team members’ special basketball jumping ability test indexes mainly include five test indexes: high touch with take-off on both feet,high touch with takeoff on both feet in run-up,high touch with takeoff on one foot in run-up,standing long jump and half-squat jump with load(1RM).(2)Before the experiment,the jumping quality of the experimental group and the control group was pre-tested,and the pre-test results showed no significant difference.After 16 weeks of experiment,post-test was conducted,and comparison of data before and after the experiment showed that:(1)The test scores of the subjects in both groups improved,but the experimental group had a very significant improvement(P<0.01),and the control group only had a significant improvement(P<0.05),so it can be seen that Cross Fit training method is better than traditional training method.(2)Compared with the control group,the test index of take-off and touch height of both feet in the experimental group was significantly improved(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the control group,the experimental group had a significant difference in the test index of jump height on one foot in the run-up(P<0.05).(4)The test index of standing long jump in the experimental group was improved significantly compared with that in the control group(P<0.05).(5)The test scores of the subjects in the two groups were improved in 1RM,but the experimental group had a very significant improvement(P<0.01),while the control group only had a significant improvement(P<0.05).Therefore,it can be seen that the Cross Fit training method is better than the traditional training method(P<0.05).In conclusion,compared with the traditional high school basketball athlete’s jumping ability training method,Cross Fit training method is more suitable for the present high school basketball athlete’s jumping ability training,and on the training effect is more better than the traditional training methods,training method is novel and more targeted,more can promote high school basketball athletes jumping ability level,This training method is worthy of further popularization and application in high school male basketball players.
