| At present,the divorce rate in China is still high,accompanied by a large number of children from divorced families.Children are a critical stage in their life.This stage is in the early stage of the establishment of their sense of self-identity.It is easy for them to fall into the predicament of self-identification when they encounter the change of parental divorce.Failure to pay attention to the development of their self-identity will not only have an impact on these children’s current lives,but may even put their entire lives in a quagmire.Based on this,this study mainly takes rural children from divorced families as the research object,and conducts research on their possible self-identification dilemma.First of all,the author used scales,interviews and observations to gain a comprehensive understanding of the children from divorced families and their environment,and found that their self-identification difficulties are mainly manifested in unclear selfrole,low self-worth,social difficulty in communication,etc.Then it analyzes the reasons why children from divorced families in rural areas fall into the self-identification dilemma,which is mainly due to the existence of certain self-consciousness biases,incomplete family structure,lack of attention or incorrect attention from teachers,and improper relationship with peer groups.Then,according to the interviews with these children and the scores of the self-identity scale,8 more suitable children were selected for group work intervention.Firstly,the needs assessment of the team members was carried out,and it was found that their needs mainly include correcting self-consciousness deviation,improving interpersonal relationships and increasing future expectations.Then,under the guidance of looking glass self theory,ecological systems theory and ABC theory of emotion,appropriate group work plans and interventions were formulated.After the practice,the group was evaluated comprehensively by using the post-test of the self-identity scale,filling in the group goal achievement scale,the group member satisfaction scale,and incorporate interviews with children’s families and teachers.From the evaluation results,it can be seen that through the intervention of the group work method,the self-identity level of the group members has been improved.Finally,the author made a brief discussion on the self-identity of rural children from divorced families,expounded the applicability of group work to improve the self-identity of these children,and pointed out the shortcomings of this research.It is hoped that this study will be improved in terms of improving the representativeness of the sample,the comprehensiveness of the design group activities,and the improvement of the professional level of social workers. |
