Social Work Involved In Mobile Game Addiction Of Rural Left Behind Children

Abstract/Summary:
At present,online game addiction has been rich in research results,and mobile game addiction,as a popular theme,has made certain development on the basis of the existing research on online game addiction.Many scholars have conducted systematic research on the status quo,internal mechanism and theoretical intervention strategies of mobile game addiction.All these have laid a solid theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.However,the research and analysis of the specific situation and countermeasures of children’s mobile game addiction in the context of China need to be expanded.This study takes rural left-behind children in W Street,W City as the research object.Based on cognitive behavioral theory,social support theory and Satir family therapy model,semi-structured interview,questionnaire survey and participatory observation are adopted to collect data and explore the current situation of mobile game addiction among left-behind children in W City.This paper tries to use the professional methods of group work and case work to intervene in the problem of mobile game addiction of left-behind children,so as to help left-behind children find ways to solve the problem of mobile game addiction and obtain long-term support.Based on data comparison and analysis,the author found that the problems of mobile game addiction among left-behind children mainly include: 1.Time consciousness disappears 2.Family tension;3.Poor learning status;4.poor physical quality.Addiction is mainly affected by individual,family and social environment.Through the intervention of social work practice,the results are as follows: 1.Individual addiction is the main endogenous factor;2.Environmental factors play a key role in strengthening;3.Family therapy mode has applicability to intervene mobile game addiction of left-behind children.Therefore,it is suggested that future work should focus on the following aspects: 1.Giving full play to the supporting role of families for left-behind children;2.However,there are some shortcomings in this study,such as the need to increase the sample size,the limitations of treatment technology and the limited time and energy.
