In recent years,with the development of news media,related reports on campus bullying incidents have been increasing,and the issue of campus bullying has gradually become a common concern of schools,families and society.This study applies social work methods to the self-esteem improvement of the bullied on campus,explores whether social work intervention in the low self-esteem of the bullied on campus has a positive effect,and draws conclusions and puts forward prospects on the basis of practice.In order to help those who are being bullied on campus correctly understand themselves and campus bullying,learn how to control their emotions and communicate with others,improve their self-esteem,and return to normal campus life.During the internship in S middle school,the author conducted a survey on the students of two general classes in the second grade of junior high school,and selected the research objects from them,and collected the data of the research by participating in observation,interview,questionnaire survey and scale measurement.As a guiding theory,combined with the mirror-me theory,social work intervention is carried out in the form of group work,including 8 group activities.This paper studies the self-esteem level and its specific performance of bullied students in S middle school,and discusses how social workers use cognitive behavioral theory to improve the self-esteem level of campus bullied students and the intervention effect of group activities in the way of group work..The results of the study show that social work intervention can effectively improve the self-esteem of those who are bullied on campus.Compared with the control group,the self-esteem of the experimental group has been significantly improved.The group work under the guidance of cognitive behavioral theory has a significant effect on improving the self-esteem of the bullied.In terms of cognition,the self-evaluation of the client has been greatly changed,and they no longer blindly deny themselves;in terms of behavior,group members have changed.In terms of emotions,it can be seen from the interviews that the negative emotions of group members have been transformed,and the value of their own abilities has become more affirmed.In addition,there is still a problem of immaturity in this intervention.The improvement of the self-esteem of the bullied on campus requires the participation of multiple subjects and the increase of the sample size to further verify the effectiveness of social work intervention in improving the self-esteem of the bullied on campus. |
