Research On The Involvement Of Social Work In The Cultivation Of Community Social Organizations For The Disabled

With the transformation of government functions and the introduction of relevant regulations,community social organisations,as an important vehicle for the public to actively participate in social governance,have developed rapidly,but there are also disadvantages in the process of development,such as a large volume but low quality,a variety of services but a single type of organisation,etc.Community social organisations need to further improve the quality of services and enrich the type of organisation.Guided by the strengths perspective and empowerment theory,this paper uses observation and interview methods to collect primary materials and conduct a study on social work intervention in the nurturing of community-based social organizations for the disabled.The paper firstly presents the practical process and effectiveness of social work intervention in the nurturing of community social organizations for the disabled,then analyses the specific process,methods and techniques of social work intervention in the nurturing of community social organizations for the disabled,summarizes the nurturing experience,identifies the problems in the process of nurturing community social organizations for the disabled and puts forward relevant suggestions,so that social workers can better apply their professional methods in the nurturing of community social organizations for the disabled.The workshop will also provide suggestions for social workers to better apply their professional approach to the nurturing of community social organizations for the disabled.The involvement of social work in the cultivation of community-based social organisations for the disabled has broadened the field of social work research in the cause of helping the disabled and complemented the services provided by community-based social organisations for the disabled.However,as it is still in the exploratory stage,there are still problems such as the weak theoretical foundation of social work for the disabled and insufficient professional support,the short-term nature of social work services,which affects the consistency of the organisation’s cultivation,and the weak autonomy of social work interventions due to the restrictions imposed by many parties.In response to these problems,the author proposes to improve the capacity of helping people with disabilities at the social work level to ensure the professionalism of the services;to attach importance to the linkage of resources and to grasp the initiative of the work.In addition,the author proposes to strengthen training on disability services and improve policies and regulations at the government and social levels;strengthen supervision of the cultivation process and relax the project cycle;and realise cooperation between the government and society to create a relaxed environment,so as to give full play to the role of community-based social organisations in helping people with disabilities as a bridge between them and society,and actively promote their participation in social governance and social integration.
