With the global economic integration,my country’s higher education is also developing rapidly in the direction of internationalization.At present,the implementation of the Sino-foreign cooperative education model has become one of the important ways for colleges and universities to introduce high-quality overseas teaching resources and cultivate international talents.However,with the rapid development of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs,the psychological pressure of students participating in the program has become increasingly prominent.Sino-foreign cooperative education has particularities in management mode,training requirements,charging standards,etc.On the one hand,students participating in the project will cause psychological pressure under the high tuition fees and huge academic pressure;Completing the transition from high school to university(or postgraduate)within time and adapting to changes in campus and social environments at home and abroad will also cause psychological pressure.If we do not pay attention to the psychological pressure these students are currently facing and intervene in time,it will have a negative impact on their physical and mental development,and will also affect the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education.This study selects the students who participated in the X+Y cooperative education project of X University in Xi’an as the research object,and analyzes the current situation of psychological pressure of these students through semi-structured interviews and questionnaires.The survey finds that they face huge psychological pressure and complex pressure Psychological stress has had serious adverse effects on their physiology,psychology and behavior.In the later stage,from the perspective of social work,six group members were selected through the voluntary principle.Under the guidance of the theory of empowerment and social support,five support groups with the theme of stress relief were launched according to the current situation and needs of students.After the activity,it was found through the evaluation that the group activity had achieved certain results.Mutual support and sharing played a very important role in relieving pressure and realizing common growth,which verified the advantages of the social work group working method in relieving psychological pressure of students under the background of sino-foreign cooperation in running schools.Also through expanding the social work service field to enrich and improve the school social work research.
