Community volunteer service is an important channel to carry out after-school education and improve the citizen moral level of teenagers.China’s "Guide to Social Work Services for Adolescents" and "Medium and Long-term Youth Development Plan(2016-2025)" propose to enhance the awareness and ability of young people to participate in social welfare and voluntary service,encourage young people to give full play to the role of fresh force and commando in economic and social development,and deepen youth voluntary service.At the same time,with the continuous optimization of China’s social governance pattern,the focus of social governance has gradually moved down to the grass-roots level,and the rapid development of the community has made a large number of volunteers emerge and actively participate in community volunteer service.Among them,teenagers as one of the main participants of community volunteer service,their participation in the process of community volunteer service,not only make contributions to the society,to cultivate their own values and personal growth is also beneficial,is a positive interaction between help and self-help.However,in the process of teenagers’ participation in community volunteer service,there are widespread problems such as lack of knowledge and skills,self-cognition deviation and weak practical ability,which lead to low level of community volunteer service and unsatisfactory service effect.As one of the three methods of social work,group work has the function of promoting the common growth of group members according to the common needs of group members,and has a unique advantage in the improvement of teenagers’ community volunteer service ability.Based on understanding the X community in guangzhou youth community to participate in the program and the current situation of community youth participation in community voluntary service,on the basis of trying to explore under the perspective of service learning,the method of using group work promote youth community volunteer service ability,and the intervention process of group activities and the content of reflection and evaluation,It is found that the participation ability and awareness of volunteer service of teenagers in the community have been improved.The young volunteers who participate in the group have a positive attitude towards the growth of their own ability,and they can use the skills learned in the group to improve the quality of service in the process of community volunteer service.This paper summarizes the experience and shortcomings of group work in the improvement of community volunteer service for teenagers,and puts forward general suggestions on the improvement of community volunteer service ability of teenagers involved in group work,providing reference for the development of relevant group work practice. |
