Research On Social Work Intervention Of Community Volunteer Service Ability Improvement

The process of social governance have been developed for the past few years,social problems are increasingly abundant,the community as a basic unit of governance,volunteers as the main participants of community autonomy,in this context has been rapid development.As an important hand of community governance,community voluntary service can solve the internal problems in the process of community development,enhance the effect of community autonomy.And it is helpful for social development.Yet now,there are the problems that lack of volunteer service capacity and so on,which is harmful to community volunteer service,so it is necessary to take some measures to enhance the capacity of community volunteer service.In this paper,we take the W community in Wuhan as an example to investigate the situation of community voluntary service.It conducts problems and requirements analysis that based on the theory of energy enhancement and the iceberg model.On this account,developing Social Work Intervention Scheme,the use of group work methods for community volunteers to enhance the capacity of voluntary services.Through the investigation,we know that there are many problems in volunteer service ability of W community volunteers,the concrete manifestation is: the volunteer service specialized is not strong,the organization coordination ability and the resources link ability are insufficient,between the volunteer deep level interaction insufficiency.But the deep reason of the problem focuses on the volunteers;insufficient cognition of self-ability and the idea of volunteer service,and the insufficient initiative of volunteer service.For these problems,research based on the iceberg model,from the knowledge and skills,self-awareness,role positioning,quality and motivation of the four levels to carry out group work practice,to meet the needs of community volunteers to improve their ability to serve,and to lead volunteers to plan and design community activities according to community problems and needs,the volunteer knowledge and skills they have learned in group activities are put into practice to test the effectiveness of the work of the group.At the end of the intervention,an evaluation of the effectiveness of the entire social work service project was carried out and it was found that the capacity of the volunteers had been improved and that they had carried out service activities in the community that were in line with their needs,it has promoted the dissemination of the spirit of volunteerism,strengthened the community volunteer corps and made a significant contribution to community self-governance,thus demonstrating that group work intervention is an effective way to enhance the capacity of volunteerism.
