| During the COVID-19,Online Learning has become indispensable.Meanwhile,the increasing number of attending Postgraduate Entrance Examination(PEE)has attracted attention.However,some drawbacks in Online Learning,such as lack of learning situation and high requirements of self-regulated,directly affect learners’ experience and behavior.and it is the main obstacle to the use of online learning platforms for learners of PEE.Therefore,this paper attempts to enhance the design of the online learning platform through the user experience and behavior design theory.The purpose is to explore the way to optimize the online learning experience and promote the online learning behavior of learners of PEE,and to provide reference for the design of PEE learning platform.Firstly,this paper reviewed literature of PEE,Self-Regulated Learning,User Experience and Behavioral Design,and puts forward research opportunities to improve the online learning experience of learners of PEE by using the theories of Behavioral Design and SelfRegulated Learning.Based on the guidance of the double diamond design process,this design study is carried out by four stages of Discover,Define,Development and Deliver.In the discover stage,this paper analyzes the current market situation of PEE learning platforms through PEST analysis,Questionnaire Survey,and Competitive Product Analysis,and defines the opportunities and threats of PEE learning platforms.In the define stage,this paper first obtains the characteristics and goals of the learners of PEE through Grounded Theory and Observation,establishes a user model,and combs the pains of the online learning of PEE.Then,this paper uses the Fogg behavior design model and Self-Regulated Learning to analyze the influencing factors of online learning behavior of PEE and summarizes design opportunities.Then,through Focus Groups and Analytic Hierarchy Process,this paper further excavates and evaluates user requirements,and determines the design brief of the PEE learning platform.In the development stage,based on the design brief,this paper constructs the functional information architecture of PEE learning platform,and carries out the design prototype,and optimizes the design scheme through Usability Test.In the deliver stage,this paper determines the visual style through the Emotional Board and displays the design scheme by high fidelity prototype.The contribution of this paper lies in the bibliometrics analysis of the research status in the field of PEE,the proposed design methods driven by User Experience and Behavior Design,and the design practice of PEE learning platform.The significance of this paper lists as follows:(1)under the epidemic and the fever of PEE,this paper can make up for the current lack of research on the online learning experience of PEE and provide insights from the design perspective for relevant researchers and market personnel(2)PEE learning is mainly about self-regulated learning,and the learning experience and behavior are very important.This paper provides theoretical guidance for the construction of PEE learning platform from User Experience and Behavioral Design,which is beneficial to providing better online learning services for learners of PEE(3)Driven by experience and behavior,this paper provides a practical case of the Yanxuetang App,which can provide reference for future design. |
