Research On The Practice Of Social Work Supervision Under The Theory Of Experience Learning Circle

Social work supervision is an important part of the development of professional social work.The talent team of social work supervision is the key and important element of the construction of social work talent team.At present,most of the research on supervision focuses on the macro research,and there is less practical research on micro supervision.At the same time,there is little to accurately split the social work supervision according to the theory and design a set of procedural guidance mode.How to solve the practical problems of micro supervision is worthy of our further research and discussion.Kolb’s experience learning circle theory attaches importance to experience and the overall theoretical framework is consistent with social work supervision.Taking the "escort youth" project in D City as an example,this study expounds the exploration of social work supervision practice under the theory of experience learning circle.Analyze the supervision process and evaluate the effectiveness of supervision from the four steps of experience learning circle theory,including: first,specific experience : leading the supervised to obtain the important experience of front-line practical process;Second,reflective observation : urge the supervised to think deeply about the key practical experience;Third,abstract conceptualization: guide the supervised to abstract achievements on the basis of experience reflection;Fourth,active practice : encourage the supervised to take new action plans.Finally,achieve the sustainable growth of the supervised.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the process of social work supervision under the experience learning circle theory from the two aspects of supervisor and supervised.In view of the problems found,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the social work supervision under the experience learning circle theory,such as the supervisor taking the initiative to establish an equal and collaborative relationship,designing the learning structure in advance and controlling the whole supervision process,guiding the supervised to reflect on their experience with critical thinking,and empowering the supervised.By exploring the practical application of experiential learning circle theory in social work supervision,this study provides a clear supervision procedure for social work supervisors and helps the supervised grow and progress better.At the same time,strengthen the micro practice research of social work supervision,and promote the development of social work supervision practice.
